Let me tell you why Volibear is a solid pick. His strong early and mid game snowballs him hard.

>Passive.

One of the most annoying passives in the game. Makes you unkillable and tricks your opponent. Unless you're ignited, your hp will regen like a mother fucker and you'll be able to potentially outduel them.

>Flip

Fairly good cc ability on a fairly short cd. If your allies follow up with you, you may possibly have an easy kill if you manage to land a flip on them. If you land a q/w combo then that's the most unexpected 100/0 they've seen.

>Bite

Holy shit this fucking ability makes Voli one scary beast. An ability that scales off his hp. let me repeat that again. Bite scales off hp. Literally you can build tank and still do damage. If you're jungling, you're the most terrifying thing there. Cinderhulk synergies well with him, enemies with 20% health are instantly gibbed when you bite them.

>Roar

Just a small slow, but it can help secure a kill by slowing them down then flipping them.

>Ult

Fucking lighting shooting everywhere. It's basically a built in statikk shiv. It adds more dmg to your autos but other than that, it's just a small dmg booster.

have him. if the enemy has a nice poking champs , hard cc; he'll be a pelt. but playing him against Irelia and singing The Hairy Bear and the Maiden Fair that would be funny. you say he's unkillable with his passive up, so i may try blue smite and cinder and teleport.

i was playing bird udyr for a while and i was like allah snackbar.

items; dovourer, ghost shoes, randuin, banshee, 3fors, ice axe(the thing with slow + 700 hp)

with the new devourer, every 2 basic attacks proc your R. which means 300 damage every 2 hits. when you catch enemy with stun, usually hit 6 times before the run or even react. after the 6th hit, activate R again and your R procs 4 times. 4x300 be like 1200 damage and didn't say i add the devourer, sheen and crit damages yet.

unlike trick2g godyr build, i take exhaust and blue smite. trick2g farms in his jungle til mid game and comes back as god. i usually camp lanes and help objectives.

Honestly, he's very kitable. One of his cons for sure but an unexpected flash/flip combo landed on a carry and you manage to kill them, you've done you're job. Your passive helps you tank the dmg and they end up focusing you. I've played him so much supp and jung. Blue smite voli is best voli. I usually take flash too, he lacks a decent escape. He can potentially outrun with q but he's no Hecarim. I love maining the guy, it's satisfying to just nuke players with bite.
