As of now, both pro and anti loli has no evidence to support they're claims. The anti has always reminded me of how violent video games were(and still are) stigmatized because some people believe they cause violence, even when the majority of studies suggest otherwise, that it acts as an outlet rather than a build up. My point is, people have wanted to ban something without having decent evidence, and lolicon has already had that problem going on as well.

Normally the burden of proof would lie with the government, They ban something, so they should justify that decision but we all know that's not going to happen, not on a topic so controversial. Thus it would fall onto it's…..fans and viewers.

Personally, I don't think lolicon = pedophilia and yes, I do watch lolicon from time to time(hence, me being here). I've read a report of a Canadian police force where they're noted that of all the pedophiles they've apprehended, roughly 30% also owned some form of lolicon porn. Which doesn't mean that lolicons automatically are pedophiles or that lolicon can be a gateway to pedophilia.

I think part of the problem is that there is no one representing lolicon, I know this sounds weird but in real life, no one is really opposing countries banning it, no one is explaining our views and thoughts, no one is trying to explain that we cannot ban something just because some people 'think' it might lead to bad things and lastly, no one is actually studying this to find evidence.

Lastly I'd like to say, if somehow credible studies would be made, and multipul different studies come to the conclusion that lolicon does lead to pedophilia, then I'll gladly support it being banned.

Living in the country I do, I don't think I was be a decent candidate. Growing up in my street alone there were a total of 3 cases of pedophilia and lynch mobs. Our country is somewhat infamous for that. Anyway, I don't feel as if the general audience would want to hear this from 'one of their own'.
