I agree with >>20185, at that angle you probably wouldn't see any kind of flesh from her clit area, most likely just the one line showing the split of the vulva. Also, it her neck looks far too off center from her head. Like, if her head were far enough back that the left-edge of her nose were in line with the left edge of her arm closest to the viewer it might work better. Also, I think her neck is perhaps too thin, overall.

Otherwise it looks pretty good. Again, I agree with the anon, the coloring is nice. Hell, you could even erase the lines for her ear if you wanted, her hair is long/big enough for it realistically cover the sides of her head completely.

Yeah, looks pretty good! Nothing wrong with getting "lucky" as long as you learn/figure out what about it makes it looks "right." I wouldn't say the legs are completely wrong, though her left (further away from the viewer) leg looks like it ought to be slightly longer, especially if her forward leg is intended to be resting on the tip of her toes/boot.

And don't worry about feeling like you need to practice more. Everyone does, regardless of how much they want to admit it. Again, as long as you can recognize what you feel you need to improve upon, you've learned.

CYMK is for the ink since colour mixing works different between light and pigments. Unless you plan on printing any of this there's no real reason to bother with CYMK.

Honestly the difference between the two pics in minimal though so it's not that big a deal.

Basically because screens are light based and use Red, Green and Blue for colour mixing, achieving the look that a printed image has is a bit tricky.

Also if you are printing, don't forget DPI. This is more something you have to think about before starting the image so you don't get a tiny image when it's printed out if you want it to be detailed quality.

I haven't dealt with printing my work all that often so I don't know the best DPI to strive for in relation to the resolution of the image being printed. I've heard 300 DPI a bunch but that means that something like a 1920x1080 wallpaper sized image will barely be over 3.5 inches tall.

In never print on anything bigger than A3 so no problem at all.

I just checked and I have a picture in 70 DPI that turned great on A3.

Though it has really weird measurement on photoshop, it's more than 40 inches high.

Addendum: The thing about tablets is that you have to work up a different hand-eye coordination than you have to work up when you draw on paper. That's why the transition can be a bit tough. It took me a couple weeks to get really comfortable with the way you have to focus on the screen instead of looking at the tablet when you draw. Once you make that adjustment though the boundless options availible for digital art are pretty sweet. Just the ability to warp and transform sections of your drawing to work better is an amazing thing to have at your disposal.

Pixiv is your best bet since it has the biggest audience. You'll need to learn japanese tags to properly tag your content and enable people to find your stuff. I mean, there is also nijie.info, but that's the same as Pixiv, only more japanese. If you draw guro-related stuff you can create a thread on gurochan.ch. You can start uploading on rule34hentai.net (people need an account to see loli content there, this is the only rule34 website that officially allows loli, although paheal is still the largest and they're doing a really bad job at deleting underage art). If you seek to join a forum\community try allthefallen.ninja or lolicit.org (they're both pro-pedo in terms of acceptance though, so it's up to you if you're okay with that). All of the things mentioned in addition to imageboards are the only places to share loli art as of now.

I don't know about that, but tumblr just doesn't allow loli and sometimes with enough reporting deletes drawn bestiality porn too. There are loli artists there though. They don't post loli on tumblr, they just use the website as another platform to interact with fans \ advertize their patreon or some other shit. As for pixiv, they're starting to get annoyed with uncensored porn that westerners do, and sometime in the future it will probably be a requirement to apply censorship, but for now you can most definitely get away with not censoring your art. Pixiv is best right now, although there are issues with uncensored ones getting flagged by admin, the situation is far from clear. Some people say that if you tag it properly, it's fine, and I've seen other's who've started using the tactic of making a multi-page pic, and the 'cover' page is censored, but subsequent pages (which are the exact same image, or variations with cum, more dicks, etc) are uncensored.

The other option is loli-specific or loli-tolerant forums, where you can have your own thread that can generally only be accessed by members, and you can still be in touch with people who are willing to commission. wwoecforum.com and lolicit.org both allow loli (the later is loli-focused, but smaller, particularly in the drawn-art category).

Oh, and I'd say don't worry overmuch about whether it's ranked or not on pixiv, there are tons of ways for people who are into that sort of thing to follow it. It seems like you can tag it properly to avoid such things, but it seems to be temporary. The fact that management sends censorship notices to clearly western users and doesn't tell them to put a tag on, instead demanding to censor the work says something. Pixiv probably can get in trouble in they're located in Japan and host uncensored porn, but i don't know much about it.

As for censoring, with my stuff it's pretty tame on the initial image, more often than not they are clothed in that image. I haven't done anything too out there right now. It really will. It is a pain in the ass getting full membership, I won't lie, but, honestly, you'll probably get all the rep you need within a day if you post some of your art with an intro post (there's a rule about no art showing penetration in the forums the newbs can access, although can post nudes or links), and that's the most difficult part for most people. After that it's just a matter of making 20 posts which, yeah, sucks, but it's not too bad. Comment on one of the many posts about people's favorite lolis, or about TV/movies you like, or say a few "great story" type comments in response to some of the stories in the creative writing section (hell, you don't even have to mean it), and you can knock them out pretty quickly. Just do 5 posts a day and you're done in 4.

That's the question nowadays. You want a public place without or minimal access restrictions that's frequented by a good number of people and accepts western non parody works. The only place in the west I can think of is sankaku's booru. Preserving art isn't the problem, allowing for a climate in which new art is create is. Artists who were formerly drawing loli are dropping it left and right because it's not worth the hassle anymore. Paheal still had some artists posting there directly because they liked the interface and the community. Pixiv isn't a perfect solution either because of the language barrier and the risk of getting forced to censor your art. Exhentai isn't easily accessed by the publid and Rule34hentai is loaded with malicious ads, like paheal was some years ago. Forums like lolicit are gathering places for real pedophiles(not saying that's bad, but artists don't want to be seen as being part of "that" group). The best place to post new art right now IMO is reddit, even though they too segregated loli and everything else, since it's public and doesn't host anything directly, so artists can make use of boorus while getting the benefits of reddit's user interface.

I just bought an art tablet, but the only program I have is Gimp and it's pretty poor for this sort of stuff. What (preferably free) programs would y'all recommend?

And is there any tutorials you think have helped you out a lot?

It does sometimes, from what I've seen from doujins and such, censorship on genitals is really odd.

if a vagina is closed and there's no clitoris peeking out id doesn't require a censor, it it's spread, only the clitoris and small bits of the inside need to be censored. a flaccid penis doesn't need to be censored, and an erect one only needs censor bars on the bottom and tip of the head. I've seen plenty of Japanese artists get away with semi transparant
