 No.29913

To elaborate, this is actually a Visual-Novel Game. It has a strong storyline, with a bonus-section that is sort-of a free-roaming game. While the story portion also has some game-elements to let you know what your disposition progress is. (Eg, heading south, or crossing borders, or on the main-path.)

There is more involved, but that is the general gist of it. Story -> Bonus-Free-roam -> Bonus-Bonus-ends.

The story is setup around a 34 year-old man who is living with his 23 year-old sister. (May have an option to make her "just a room-mate".)

The story begins with her begging her brother for a real important favor. She is desperate for some physical attention, and found a beautiful woman who is willing, but the woman also wants a man, in a three-way. She too, is sort-of sex-starved.

The brother eventually collapses, but… He has a secret "issue". Not anything to do with banging this random chick, while his sister is around… In his mind, it is no different then sharing the same girl with a brother.

His "issue", is the fact that he, well, has a reference for younger females. (Sort-of why he has been "dry" for so long, avoiding all relationships. But years of solitude rise to the occasion when opportunity comes knocking.)

Ultimately, he agrees, and the arrangement is setup for that coming night. They keep their distance between one-another, which isn't what their guest seemed to have in mind.

This woman, eventually, while having both in the heat of passion, begs them for more, offering "forever" with them, if they "cross that line" for her, for them… Claiming to see it in their eyes, that they want it too.

{There is a point here to continue without doing it, which takes the story into a whole new area. This having a good-end, with a similar bonus-free-roaming, but not the intended ending. Rejecting the sister interaction here, leads to a three-try, later part. Full rejection takes you to the other end. Accepting her lead, takes you to the intended ending, but with a different set of limitations.}

Any-who… You did, or didn't cross that border, and it is now the morning after…

The guest has gone, and it is just you and your sister having breakfast. No weirdness, though weirdness was expected… You still feel obligated to "come out" to your sister, if this is going to continue. Not that you are trying to get out of the situation, but you would rather continue this/anything, with a truthful "all cards on the table", and risk whatever losses or collateral damage comes your way, by telling her. (So you are not dragging something on, which may later hurt both of them.)

But… your coming-out speech gets interrupted… A phone-call from your guest the other night, now talking to your sister.

She tells you the good news… Your guest wants to come back tonight, but she wants to introduce both of you to her daughter…

You cringe at the thought of NOW mentioning what you were just about to mention, but continue anyways. Feeling now, that it is more relevant to say.

You tell your sister what your "complication" was, the other night. She gives you odd looks, but doesn't seem to be upset or disgusted. However, she begs that this not come-out tonight, to their guest… Demanding that she too, must know this, if they are to continue. She tries to call her back, but the conversation is cut-short and their friend has now decided to come-over early, so they can say what needs to be said.

Their friend realizes something is up, but she thinks they are just feeling guilty and trying to back-out, or thinks that maybe trying to bring her daughter over was "rushing the relationship"… The two siblings, however, get the feeling that she is upset and is thinking about ditching dinner altogether.

However, she does show-up, with her daughter, and a little pre-dinner conversation takes place outside. Again, this does not seem to bother their new friend as they thought it might. She insists that they head inside and continue the night. Almost with an encouraging or egging-on underlying sense of urgency. (One both of them think they are just misreading.)

Eventually, the night ends-up with a playful atmosphere, if you do everything as "intended", by the story-line. (Things can get turned around for better or worse, depending on your actions and views.)

The night, which should have ended-up with the daughter being "dropped-off at home", is now ending with a bottle of nearly alcohol-devoid grape-wine, and a twisted game of "spin the bottle", which was originally protested by the sister, but the friend insisted that it was only twisted if you made it twisted. It was an innocent game, if you played it innocently. "Just because you used it to kiss boys, when you were a kid, doesn't make it twisted. That makes you twisted… well… normally twisted."

So the rules get explained, and torture to the protagonist ensues. All in good fun, his games get turned against him, at first.

 No.29914

>>29913 Contd…

Then, something happens, which involves no-one but the daughter of their friend. Something completely unexpected, that triggers some border-crossing which no-one saw coming. Yet, it is so "in the moment", that it is allowed to continue, as everyone is seeing it as just as an innocent and beautiful thing happening…

(Again, more chances here to fuck shit up… or make it better, or just less beautiful.)

Cutting the story short… This "moment", triggers a bonding of events that carries the game into the next progressive level of twisted occurrences. (No matter which of the, now three, paths you are on. Each with a chance to still unlock the bonus-free-roaming portions.)

Skipping ahead to the free-roaming…

You are in one of two locations, per bonus section. (Trailer -> Studio), or (House -> Studio)…

There are an assortment of other interactive characters at each location, and the ones in the non-studio location, can change, as you essentially adopt them… sort-of… (Part of a mini-quests bonus-bonus section, to "obtain" move-ins.)

This studio is a sort-of Loli-Studio for sexy outfits, intended for home use, to make them "feel like they look pretty". However, one of the events that occurs, leads to a new market opening-up… Clothing that not only looks good, but makes you physically feel good, to the point of orgasm. (Good times!)

That opens-up, again by choices made, some perversions or more secluded private shows.

Along the way, as there is still a story going-on while playing the game element… There is some blackmailing that will happen, some extortion, some peeping, some discoveries, some accusations, and various other things you are trying to avoid or stop. (Thus, the game element. It's not all lust and thrills!)

So, I am playing with titles now that the whole story is essentially hammered-out with all the paths, and much of the artwork completed being roughed-up for production.

These suggestions are in the format, {Title: Subtitle}

- Naturotica, "Closed doors, open minds"

- The last summer of love, "Twisted affairs, straight laces"

- Thirst of desire, "Love, Lust and a little Liquor"

- Gypsy homesteads, "Big dreams, little beds"

- Persistence of passion, "The show must go on, so we can get off"

Just updating some scanned artwork.

These are not a representation of anything other than concept. The two images are panoramic views that slide left and right, depending on the dialogue.

The first one is the front of the "Studio M", and the second one is the back-side of the studio, in the alley. This is the loli-studio, where they are normally modeling. (That changes with the story.)

There is a homeless "bonus" girl sleeping in the box.

I painted some colors, just to test the look.

Two more concept drawings… Well, four… Two and two.

First is the lobby, when you enter the studio.

Second is the dressing-rooms, past the lobby and before the runway area.

Third is the runway, on the ground-floor.

Fourth is the skyway catwalk, for the VIP shows on the top floor.

Not sure I follow your suggestion?

Are you implying that the title is essentially not worth any significance? (Being the time of the year… as in, "call it whatever"?)

There will be a follow-up game to this one, but in a whole new setup. Similar play and content, but you will be playing two of the female kids, in another location. As opposed to one single male protagonist.

Any thoughts on the whole "sibling" thing?

I decided today, to have it play-out as one of a few options… Sister, Step-sister, Adopted sister, Room-mate. (Since that is one "forced" non-loli situation, which may detract from the intended audience.)

Any thoughts on that?

More stuff… Getting ready for 2D test-ink and test-rendering as 3D, to convert to 2D possibly.

First is the back-stage of the ground-floor. Stairs go up to the catwalk level, for VIP.

Second is the VIP lounge. Two curved seats, Two curved display tables. With the full-wall of glass for viewing models as they pose outside the lounge, when they are not in the lounge.

Third is outside the VIP, which has the door on the far wall leading to the VIP. Next door is the main office, and last is storage. Stairs go down to the reception-room. Reception leads to the prior drawing with the six curtain-rooms. That door is unseen, but to the right, obviously… As the prior entrance shows the reception desk to the right-side, and the stairs. (There will be more crap up there. Loli hang-out, and try-outs.)

Last one is just the office. Not much happens here. Some under-desk activity and over the desk activity. Mostly just some normal dialogue. May expand that scene though.

Next will be some of the home crap. Still playing with the panoramic views and interior arrangements. Some does not match the story or the original designs. I wasn't getting the effect I wanted from the exaggerated reverse fish-eye style curve of the environment.

>>29980

Not at the moment, but if I find one willing to host this stuff, then I will. (Can't find many willing to host loli-content. Still undecided if I am going to go full-2D or half-3D or full-3D. Half being the artistic-mixture of 3D as 2D art.)

Otherwise it will just be left to private distribution channels.

The 3D-ish style will eventually be merged with the 2D-ish inked/colored style.

I use the rendered 3D to get the more precise lines and angles, but intend to either hand-color and hand-draw the lines to replace the 3D components… or add to the 3D components.

That is why I posted this test image so early. For those who want to see how it is done, and to get input along the way.

Unfortunately, drawing free-hand has a lot of limitations. This is essentially like using rulers and 3D guides.

If I just hand-paint the 3D, it will look like the game "Walking dead"… That scenery style… (I hope.)

I am unsure how I am going to do the player models still… Same process… This is the original 3D model… I will "Loli her up", to test her looks too. (Draw her by hand, using the 3D as the guide.)

P.S. That is exactly the kind of feedback I am looking for. Honest and informative. When you look at your own art for so long, you brain fills-in the "ideas", but they don't exist on the actual drawings. I lose a lot of sight that way. When you look at it, you remind me what is missing and make me look back at my own art in a new light. It helps, a lot…

Nice idea. I don't know if your still exploring the options, but I think that having the girl be your roommate would be best. I think the incest drama (if it happens, and a fuck-fest goes down) might detract from the actual point. Imagine how much harder (more fun) it would be to convince someone you don't know very well to start crossing lines.

Also, just as a random thought, a sibling would not need an introduction (because you know the shit outa her), but a flashback to when you first met the roommate might be a cool way to introduce them to the story. This doesn't really matter but it just came to me while typing above.

I agree with that line of thinking. Which will possibly leave me doing the sister thing as another mod.

The core game is going to be devoid of all sexual content. The mods will expand it to contain the "goodies". This is the only way I can get this into the "legal market". With the mods being add-ons of undisclosed publication, for free, to add to the core game.

I will be doing some more styled renderings and colorings tonight…

Quick update, got sidetracked… Started hand drawing (from horrible memory), two of the models. Then decided to scan and edit them, and remembered why I don't scan shit anymore and went full digital in the first place.

Took freaking half an hour to edit out the background and do small line-removal details.

Obviously I also have a stupid watermark from my scanner, because it is an ancient scanner that isn't supported anymore. Only works with this stupid ransom-ware program.

Not that I intended to use this for anything. Like I said, I got side-tracked.

However, I am throwing it up just for kicks and giggles. Before I head back to work on actual stuff I intend to possibly use.

Good point with the mods idea. LMAO, never thought about how I would sneak a Loli game onto the open market. This is an expression from elsewhere, but it is a favorite of mine, "Double the illegal, for double ze fun"

And for the model, I think the hips on the younger one should be a bit closer. A girl's hips spread starting around 16-ish from what I know, and continue until 20-ish. Her lower half makes her look far older than she actually is. That's fine if it's just a quick hand drawing, and not in the actual model, but I thought I would say something just in case it is.

I picked-up on that too… It is just habit, bad habit, from years of drawing horribly. Spent more time drawing male superhero style characters. (Not much better)

When I went to 3D, from clay and carvings, to digital, it was more natural.

Now I cheat and just use standard models and morph them to taste.

What I had there was a late-night drawing in the dark, with a cheap click-pencil. My actual focus was on arm/head/torso/leg proportions. Still a fraction of a hair off. Her crotch was closed more, but it made her legs look uber-thick and making them thinner made her hips completely disappear.

Luckily, this style will not be found in the visual novel game.

I should have more time tomorrow to bang-out some stuff. May even wrap-up a goofy intro with some of the artwork, to see how it looks in the game/novel.

The images here are the core models of the two same characters, and one of the other base models. However, I have not re-skinned them or adjusted the facial matching yet.

Added a quick sample of what it will look like when I use the 3D to make the 2D… But it is still a rough sketch and color, not a hard-ink outline and final shade/color.

Nice base models. Love the one with blond-ish hair.

And as for a goofy intro, I don't know how that would do with the theme of all this, but from my experience it's good to use elements that went into making a game to add extra content. Maybe a credits scene making fun of all your terrible fuck-ups? (not kidding, some games need a lighthearted and funny credits scene to help cope with an over-dramatic or dark climax/conclusion. Like the ballroom music for the end of Amnesia, A Machine for Pigs. not saying this game would need it, just remember a humorous credits scene can be helpful as shit, see Saint's Row 4) Back to your bad early drawings, if a game is interesting enough the making of it can be really fun to explore.

Amnesia the Dark Decent had the ability to turn on developer commentary throughout the game, so I replayed it and was walked through the thought process of the level designers and artists. But to have to effect of "Holy shit, so THATS how they made it awesome!" you need to make it awesome in the first place.

My advice is to save everything, and hope you can do something cool with it. Experiment, galore, but don't say anything will be a part of the actual game until the entire game is done and you can see how it compares.

Also, made a name so you can keep track of who's me.

I use Daz3D for the 3D posing/rendering. SketchUp for modeling 3D because it is fast. SketchBook Pro for sketching and coloring (normally)… But now Manga Studio EX for line-art and possibly coloring now too.

It is taking some getting use to… But I am managing.

I also have ArtRage Studio, used for some stuff and Anime Studio Pro for some 3D style displaying of scenes that are all 2D things. (Gives the effect like "Family-guy" and "South-Park" style of toons. You display your drawings in an actual 3D environment and have cameras to move around and stuff… as well as the ability to animate with bones.)

However, I just found that Manga Studio also has a cool 3D tool inside, with poseable male and female models, but highly limited function. However, there is an ability to import your own 3D OBJ files, which can be manipulated with the addition of layers-blending and raster/vector editing.)

Actually, that is what I have been playing with the last three days. Along with watching a LOT of videos and contemplating buying a new "Motion Computing" tablet computer, which has a Wacom digitizer built-in, but at a fraction of the price of the "Cintique Companion 2".

Nothing real important to update… Just all over the place to get a feel for the game. Had to do a rewrite for the "white night" version of the game.

Ironic that the white-knight version is going to be "saving the lolis", by exploiting them in a swimsuit model studio… To get them money, so they don't get abused. (Where money is the issue related to them being abused.)

More funny that the second objective is finding some of them "better homes", or simply "getting them out of abusers hands", while trying to stop a pervert and a twisted detective from taking advantage of the situations you are in.

Then, the mod flips it a full 360-deg, collecting lolis and exploiting them as sexy-clothing models and other stuff, for money, so you can support the ones you adopt personally, as pets… While still fending yourself from the same pervert and nosy twisted inspector.

Pic sort-of related… Was playing around with my freehand drawing for one of the scenes. I didn't like the hair, so I stopped working on it. May go back to it again later. Still playing with 2D traditional vs 3D->2D…

I want to get into digital art, 2D. Where should I start? I know a lot about art in general, and know Photoshop basics. I have been doing editing in MS paint for a few years though. The images are an example of what I can do. Just by copying and pasting I can rebuild pictures. I can edit and work with the most basic of free tools to do stuff like this, but I don't want to just edit. I want to start creating my own work. I want to do blended shading on my work, not flat 2D. What program set do you think I should start with? Anything specific that comes to mind? And money is not an issue, I can pirate any software I need. :) But I will NOT work with an iPad.

>Get into 2D art…

1: Resources resources resources… (For drawing reference)

- Save images that "strike a chord" in you. You like them for a reason.

2: Do "studies". (Pick one thing to focus on, and draw, draw, draw. Faces, Heads, hands, hair, poses, crotches, legs… etc.)

3: Shortcuts. (Copy and paste is a standard, not cheating. This applies to your own models and backgrounds. Use pre-made 3D and put artistic spins on them. Desks, buildings, cars, school-rooms… anything difficult to "create from scratch", or "imagine all the details in your head.")

4: Don't over-extend yourself. But realize your worst areas that need more help, and just cheat where needed. Cheaters learn faster than honest artists who draw the same horrible crap over and over. (Take note of my last post… kek. Example of stubborn non-cheating, when it comes to hair. Because that was not my focus and bald is not that beautiful.)

>Blending and shading

1: See above… Do a shading study. Blending is just a tool used to soften shades.

- Shades have two forms… Greyscale and Colorscale. For instance, that picture you posted, uses color as the shade, not only grey for shading. The flesh goes from yellow-white, to peach-tan to red-peach… While it also goes a twinge of shade darker.

- Major shades are usually colorscales with soft edges only across soft surfaces. Like bellys. Hard edges on face-creases and cheeks, etc… or less soft.

- Keep colors, sketches, outlines, shades… all on individual layers.

- Save time blending and shading by taking advantage of "retain opacity", which only lets you color where color already exists. First color a solid medium foundation color to get the "color area" for painting with lock-transparency, then add hilights and dark shades… then go back and detail.

2: Use 3D models as a good neutral reference for shades. Realize there are three normal light sources… Front-Ambient, (lights the whole model except the sharp side-curves. Main light, (Usually the sun or a source-light from above.) and ultimately, for that touche of greater realism, a back-light (An opposing light to the main light, which represents back-refractions and reflections. Light that bounces back from all the surfaces behind the object and below it… as well as from the unseen humidity in the air.)

>Programs…

(Photoshop is NOT a top choice for anything. It is a steroided and slow "general photo-editing" program. Better than MS paint. Has some good tools for painting and layers.)

For raster (pixel) drawing, I recommend Sketchbook Pro, or Artrage Studio, or Manga Studio Ex. Photoshop would be last on my list, with Gimp.

For vector (line/shape) drawing, Manga Studio Ex or Illustrator. (The only time I will ever recommend an adobe product is here. It is old-school, but for vectors, it is amazing. They just can't pack much into there, so it has not become a cluster-fuck like PhotoShop has.)

For 3D… There are only two possible choices I would recommend for "manipulation" of 3D scenes. Daz-3D or Poser. Daz3D is free and potentially better. They just got a new photo-realistic rendering engine that blows most other free things out of the water.

For 3D construction or editing… That's a tough one… But… since the goal is not to use the 3D for anything other than "form", I will only recommend two things. SketchUp, because it is the fastest for banging out complex large-scale things… and Hexagon, for the same reason. (Though, Hexagon is crash-prone, randomly. Still, it is faster than any other program without needing a full-scale ten-year education to use it, or locate all the funny names for everything that already has other names.)

Lastly, I would say Blender… because it does have some fast creation ability, if you know all the 400+ shortcuts and can figure-out the non-standard setup and location of all the odd named things.

Keep in mind… 3D, as "simple forms", for use as reference, to turn into 3D… The scene-posing is for setting-up lighting and getting the most "realistic", rendered output, for that 2D recreation, where you just can't find another resource to use.

TLDR, over.

Ran into some issues with "raster manipulation". Seems Manga-studio doesn't have the best "vector tools"… Kind of a pain in the ass to select shit and move portions of it. It is kind-of an all or nothing, or limited to rubber-band tools and distortion of whole lines…

Also, no "fill-in" painting for vectors. It can draw solid vectors, but can't seem to create them from lines, where they intersect to form shapes. Again, not a big issue. It fills-in on the raster layer, which is what I end-up needing, but it's a pain in the ass to get the area selected up to the line-center, for solid fills.

Any-who…

Here is one partial inking of one of the "hand drawn scenes." Working on the rendered scene in 3D, to have something to compare it with, and get more input.

Then I will present the color styles, and get input on that. Like it was stated before, I am feeling more like the soft pastel "crayon" look might be best. With some of my "tattoo style shading".

I am not a fan of bright solid colors and don't favor the super-detailed backgrounds that look realistic. (They tend to overpower or saturate the view, detracting from the foreground. Sort-of defeating the purpose of being a background.)

Input welcome… Anyone want to color it, feel free to do so.

By the way, these images are all between 15% to 33% of the original size. Eg, they are natively fucking huge images. xD

Sorry for the late response, thanks for all the advice. And as for 1. (resources) I have HUGE banks of digital artwork that I like. (pic related)

Everything is a pain in the ass to select shit and move portions of it. Like the lasso from MS paint. You get to make a non-rectangular selection. With a non-transparent white rectangular background. -_-

Another quick update. (Making expansions for the free-roaming portion. Wanted more wiggle-room.)

This is the shop again, though less detail, as it was the interior, which is half finished. Used the interior to make a quick shell, and put a scene together to test the feel and look.

Far left doorway is to mini-golf. (Not actually a mini-game, but scripted. You decide if you want to beat the lolis or let them beat you. Part of the "keep them entertained" element.)

Next back on the street, to the left, is a library/book-store. A semi-critical element later-on.

Next is the loli-studio, where the cut-out person is standing by the doorway.

Next, moving to the right, is a bar. Used for the investigator and a few of the loli's dads, and generic visiting perverts.

Next, right again, is a small two-theater show… Movies… Late night perversions, daily family shows. (Hope they clean the seats!)

Next, right again, is a sex-toy shop… Semi-discrete, and only in the twisted version of the game. Can't be entered from the front. Entrance is in the back, as per state-law, that no public entrance be visible within public view. (Such stupid small town rules.)

The house has many more places to visit, inside and out… I will get to that next.

For people curious what the "sketch-up" backgrounds will eventually look like… Here is a video. Ignore the goofy narration.

Added some thin inked outlines and some more details. Might go this path… I have more control and great ability to setup camera angles. Plus, still add the hand-drawn stuff to it.

I hate having to redraw things over and over…

A few shades whiter and it's looks like the city from Mirror's Edge.

I like it.

Keep me informed… It's early enough…

One more detailed color render.. no post-editing yet. Still playing with design. Then texture-sets will be made to unify everything together.

You can run linux live from a disk or usb (or VM). It can use ANY scanner via its simple scan program. Try it.

Nice work. It's been a while since I last checked in, and I can see serious progress. You mention a "free-roaming portion". Not many games like this have any non-linear gameplay, or roaming. I'd like to hear what you have in mind.

This is really stupid so if you have something more useful to do with your time, like scratch your ass, I would recommend doing that instead of reading this.

I have a REALLY random idea that my brain just shat out at the though of an open-ish loli game. There is a book about a matrix-like digital world called Eye of the Minds. Programs in this digital world can be made for any purpose or reason. I think you can see where this was going. But in general, what would it be like to have a giant open-world game to do whatever you wanted with? To be a god in a futuristic city? To literally change EVER feature of how your game plays to make it the ultimate sandbox. A game that can make new features depending on the wants of the user.

For example: You want to play as a Vampire. The game has no mode like that, so it makes you a new gamemode. It starts by reprogramming your health bar to diminish in sunlight, then it takes a generic health drain effect from some weapon in the game files, applies it to your melee attack, and uses a biting animation for it. Then it gives you flight.

Ta-da! Relatively speaking, your a vampire. If you could program some kind of low-end artificial intelligence (or piggieback Google's) into an online server for the local games to access, you could make an infinite game. O_O

I literally have no idea where this came from, but by damn, that would be awesome.
