I didn't want to do this so soon, but whatever. So, a popular art streaming site, Picarto.tv, just banned loli/shota content recently.

It seems like the more time goes by, more and more sites ban it. And to make it worse, new sites or alternatives never show up or are created! Like people are just accepting this, or are too scared to fight back! I predict that at least by 2020, we'll be fully migrated to the deep web. I believe we're entering a dark age for the community.

So my question is, what can we do about it? Or rather, what will it take to get us out of this downward slope? What is going to have to happen? I have a theory of something that might help things. Somebody well known or famous, has to admit to having sexual feelings to children, and viewing loli. They must NOT have committed a crime and never will. They must emphasize the concept of support and getting help. That will bring awareness to the fact that this condition is one you don't choose. But there is a chance that they will be scorned and treated like a monster anyway. That is one way I can imagine loli becoming accepted. Do you think that will work? Is there anything else that can happen?

It's not going to thrive outside of Japan any time remotely soon, no matter what anyone wants to say about it.

From the way you wrote the OP I'd have to guess you think loli and pedo-awareness necessarily go hand in hand, but that's the wrong approach.

It has to be accepted as an art form and style first, like it is in Japan (where people who work in otaku-oritented industries can publish loli doujinshi in their spare time under their real name for all anyone cares).

By going with an argument like "we can't help it, we need this to cope", or "it makes actual pedophiles less likely to offend" you're needlessly giving away the moral high ground to those who wouldn't really care if you just dropped dead.

Just to clarify, Joe McNormalfag doesn't and will probably never know or care what lolicon is, or about the health of the anime art scene in general. Your enemy isn't the general public, it's a small number of special-interest groups (like the child "protection" agency in Germany responsible for multiple shut-down demands against loli hosts in the West), as well as SJWs that have wormed their way into anime culture.

I don't think someone famous claiming attraction to children in any way helpful to the loli cause. Like anon said it's just have to become an acceptable art style, but it will never happen. It's a miracle that it happened in Japan, and it's unique in that regard. Even website like Fakku need to hide their loli content just because of globalization and to protect themselves from complaints and maybe even legal trouble if someone from UK or whatever sees loli on the front page. Websites mostly get in trouble precisely for that reason, even if administration is relaxed towards lolicon, someone will complain to the wrong people, emails will be sent, the website will have to comply\change the code to accommodate visitors from all around the world. It's a mess but it will never get better. If anything it will get worse and worse. As for picarto, it's a shame, but i do think Germany is kind of strict in that regard and i'm surprised they hosted it for so long. There is a similar website to picarto called piczel.tv, which is somehow related to picarto, that is hosted in Netherlands and (for now) allows lolicon. So there are alternatives. There is also Pixiv streaming, but it's god awful.

It is also disheartening to se see loli drawfags continue to use Picarto and giving them traffic, but in the grand scheme of things it probably doesn't matter.

It's not the sites you should be worried about, but your laws.

>It will never happen

>It will get worse and worse

So that's it? You're just gonna accept your fate? We as a community need to try and change things. Because I hate how everyone's just sulking and saying everything's getting worse.

on piczel.tv, this is in their terms of service page and i thought it was interesting:

>Unacceptable content:

>Naked or sexual depiction of any real person under the age of 18.

>Naked or sexual drawn content of any human character that appears to be a baby or toddler (babycon/toddlercon).

The fact that only toddlercon is mentioned is a good sign at least that they're aware that loli/shota exists and that neither they nor their host currently take issue with it.

Look man, what do you expect people to do in regards to lolicon specifically? There is a huge amount of faggotry that is going on, for example picarto recently banned loli just because they're afraid of countries ISP banning them, it's a common trend. We "as a community" may be able to affect that by sort of disinhibiting normalfags and increasing a chance that someone decent will be in position of power on such websites. It happens sometimes, not often. Gurochan was in trouble for loli, but one of the admins is russian, they don't give a fuck, other one is a sadistic pedophile, match made in heaven, so obviously they fought for keeping lolicon on a website despite being at the risk of being blocked. HF was too huge and they wanted the money, Picarto was loli-friendly because admins are alright, but they chickened out, it's a downward trend but in the end it all doesn't matter if websites allow\disallow loli, if lolicon keeps being an objectionable fetish, and it ALWAYS will, sexual objectification of children will never be okay, Japan is an exception, miracle happened, but even there there are people debating whether it should be okay to publish, it IS gross and weird, and child molestation DOES happen, and lolicon WILL keep being legislated as virtual child pornography, there is no amount of things that you can do to reverse it. You can just stall it with number of different methods, stall it deterioration on the internet, by creating websites in countries that don't give a shit, by paying drawfags to draw loli, by making VNs about how great it is to be a pedo in Germany etc, but it does not reverse the process in the slightest.

They copied that word for word from picarto old ToS, but yeah i don't think they will ban loli. We'll see. It takes one tip in youth protection agencies to make countries threaten to block access to your website, so we'll see how they will act if that happens, will they protect the right of a small bunch of people by potentially sacrificing large portion of their traffic? In the end, it doesn't matter, like i said.

That post is on to something.

>emphasize the concept of support and getting help.

Loli isn't some disease though? Loli is a body preference, an ideal size and shape, there is nothing wrong for having preferences of a body size/type- especially when it's not even real.

As long as the world isn't retarded enough to give human rights to drawings, there is no need to be worried- since there will be places like here and sadpanda to hold loli related things.

But as it seems recently it would be smart to worry as people are getting pretty retarded about this.

One of the things you can do is download as many doujins, images and all you can, as well as buying physical doujins and loli material, if legal in your country. Archive and preserve it, and if the day ever comes, you'll have your lolis safely stored near you.
