Hey, /loli/.

I've been looking for a place to ask this question and I think you may be the only ones who can.

Recently I bought 3 Ishikei(artist)doujins in paperback form. They are lolicon doujins and very obvious at that. But I don't think they have shipped, yet so I could cancel if I need to.

Well, recently I have been reading up on the Handley case and it's got the shit scared out of me.

So, my questions are: does anybody get lolicon items shipped to them safely often? What are the chances of my packages being open mid-delivery and the feds getting called? Should I just cancel my order?

Image is one of the doujins.

 No.36968

Its illegal to ship any pornography into the US as far as I know.

 No.36971

US obscenity laws, particularly about crossing borders, are incredibly broad as >>36968 makes note of, but because of that they're basically never enforced.

Handley was an idiot who accepted a plea bargain instead of fighting a case he easily could have won (the Comic Book League Defence Force among others would have gladly supported his case, and the charges against him were tenuous at best). You should indeed hate his guts for allowing an absurd legal precedent to be set regarding importing loli, and I can't blame you for being scared to do it, but almost certainly nothing will happen to you (if you do in fact live in the US, which I assume is true since you're referencing Handley in the first place).

It didn't actually create any legal precedent because it didn't go to trial. This is important since it means the courts can't reference that case as a reason to jail you.

Anyway, even if something does happen, never plead guilty and fight the charges.

Thanks for the clarification. I don't really know anything about legal proceedings and just assumed any case could be used as a precedent. Makes me glad though that his decision to plea bargain didn't have lasting consequences.

amazon.co.jp won't ship pr0n manga/doujins outside of Japan.

Customs checked his shipment, saw the loli, made him sweat, told him 'thats CP and you're going down hard, daily buttfucks in prison for 15 years, ect.'

That's why he copped the plea.

So far AFAIK no one that has gone to trial for possession of loli unless there was actual CP involved has been convicted.

But this idea that some white knight will come to defend you in court is a fantasy.

They actually were going to charge him with obscenity, not child porn. The court knew they would' get CP to stick so they went with laws that can put you in jail if they stack the jury. Obscenity laws themselves are retarded though since with the "right" jurors you can make anything be labeled obscene.

On another note, in Louisiana there was a case where the wife reported there was loli on the computer and then let the police search it without the husbands permission. It was ruled that while the loli itself wasn't a reason for him to be put in jail (he ended up having real cp) it was enough to warrant a search.

That said, why do you have your loli where your wife would find it.

as long as it was a case like Handley's with only 2D comics being the issue, they absolutely would, they have even stated on multiple occasions the pressure being put on Japan by the West regarding "obscene" manga (lolicon and beast content in particular) is something they advocate against.

What I want to know is why would you marry a woman that would rat you on over fucking cartoon drawings?
