A quick summary I just wrote up. Opinions?

The first death was recorded on October 8th, 2016. A child in Norway. Of course, back then, it wasn’t ruled as peculiar. Everyone simply thought the child had died of natural causes. It wasn’t until another fifty had died within a month showing similar symptoms that people thought something fishy was going on. By then, of course, it was too late.
Scientists estimate the spores entered our atmosphere sometime mid-2016, but could not say for definite. Once they’d landed, the disease spread quickly. It was hard to know you were infected. In some it would manifest as a simple headache, in others you could be vomiting, feverish, delirious and dehydrated. The symptoms varied person to person. However, the only people who ever fell ill from the disease were children. We now know this is because a large portion of the fungi dies when the host body enters puberty, the only remaining infection is inside the male testes.
By 2017 near enough every human being was infected, and no amount of scientific research seemed to cure this, despite fungal infections being relatively simple in the eyes of our medical professionals. I guess the difference is all the fungus we’ve ever study originated on Earth. No one could say where the ‘Pedo Shroom’ (as everyone now calls it) came from.
Some say the higher ups in the pharmaceutical industry and high-ranking government officials have purposefully slowed research on a cure, for their own personal needs. But these are the same people who claim President Bush was a reptile from space. Y’know the kind, they wear the tinfoil hats.
What we do know is that there is only two treatments available for the infected. A pricey pill that greatly reduces some of the symptoms, and a naturally made chemical called ‘Cepracotin’. Cepracotin gets its name from the official genus of the fungus ‘Cepraci Bisinum’. Unfortunately, the only way to produce Cepracotin is through the fungus that remains in the male genitalia.
This is why it is commonly referred to as the Pedo Shroom. In order to keep all the symptoms in check is to regularly coat the child’s fungus with Cepracotin, which is carried in semen.
In an ideal world we would know enough about Cepracotin to be able to extract it from the semen without it losing it’s effects, or at least be able to harvest the semen for longer than twenty minutes and it still retain said effects, but unfortunately, this isn’t that world. In this world, the semen must be administered within twenty minutes to have an effect. To add to this horror, the fungus found on children dies if exposed to direct sunlight, so it finds it’s home inside the body, meaning the semen must enter the child.
When this news was first shared with the public, there was uproar. Of course there was, the government was now telling them to feed their children semen, not just through the mouth but also through the other orifices (nose, ears, anus, vagina). No one would do it.
The government understood that if this was not accepted then humanity would soon become extinct. So they moved to change the mindset of the world. No longer was pedophilia marketed as evil, but now it was shown to be heroic. The media changed almost overnight.
Surprisingly, people took to this mindset rather fast. Perhaps after they understood the weight of the situation they realised it was a small price to pay to save not only their children, but the entire human race.
And so it was, from that day forward, men would have sex with children publicly, and would be praised for it.
