What OS are you on? Crashes during town generation? (ie when you click New Game -> Generate), or crashes when the game itself is launching to begin with? Or when it's generated then you click start?

Either way, the build you're playing is over a year old so whatever the issue is, it's possible I've fixed it already.

I wouldn't bother with that thread for any info. I don't know who posted it, but there's a lot of misinformation + outdated stuff there. They called it a RPG maker game, for one. I only post anonymously on 4chan/8chan about the game. Primarily in /vg/'s AGDG (amateur game dev generals), /jp/'s OC threads, /d/'s /dgg/ for 4chan, and for 8chan mostly just that thread on /agdg/, and to a much lesser extent sometimes on /hgg/ in their devthread.

I mean, gamers/consumers aren't developers and have wildly different ideas of what constitutes pre-alpha or what buggy means, since they old ever get either finished stuff, or late-beta stuff when it's just being polished. They typically don't get exposed to early development level of stuff, especially random development snapshots not meant for playing.

As for gameplay, is it possible to have a loli act more like your child rather than a captive? Can you give them a room above ground and let them roam the house?

Also, I notice you have implemented bodily functions. Will they beg you for the potty if one isn't provided in their cell? Is there an option to just keep them in diapers?

Alright, fixed up a bunch of pathfinding bugs that were really hampering things (ie pathing inside wouldn't work sometimes, so I had to just disable it - it's now 100% working - pic related. 2nd pic is how it was before… all with the help of implementing some handy debug things for displaying the implicit pathgrid-graph/connectors between levels - the 3rd pic).

It is worse in some ways, since when a game is in development there can be a lot of turmoil in. I had to scrap some of the old systems from the old demo, so there are some features that are either not there, or are broken, that were in the old demo (but often in very hacky hard-coded ways just for that demo).

Right now they act more or less the same even when captive. I will change that before the demo though. EVENTUALLY I will allow you to treat her more like a daughter, but that won't be until down the line some time.

When I released the pre-alpha-0.1/0.2 demos, I included full source code too. There is source code online, but only on a private repo. I'm pretty sure if it were public, SJWs would get it taken down.

I've finished up the main core of the "reverse doctor" scene, where the (bossy) loli will want to be the doctor instead of the patient. The submissive lolis will be fine with being the patient.

There's a lot of dialogue you don't see here, ie when she has better BJ/handjob skills.

3rd pic is just showing off the new tiny sprites for alternate outfits/etc. Before it was just kindergartner outfit for elementary, and school uniform for middleschoolers. Now I've got dress/kindergarten outfit for kindergartners, dress/kindergarten outfit/school uniform for elementary schoolers, and school uniform/dress for middle schoolers. Also did all 4 hairstyles (2 pigtails styles, free long hair, and short hair) since before it was just pigtails.

4th is something I just did today. Gonna have the ability for players to drag lolis. I hate making animations for sprites. Especially when you gotta draw the hair for each pose for each hairstyle…

There will be 2 draggings. Chloroformed (she won't move - will stay on the 1st frame where her eyes are closed), or just hand-over-mouth where she fights back.

I dunno if I'll let her be able to escape. Should it be a random chance? Or some bar over the player's head where it increases (or decreases) depending on your strength, hers, etc, whether you're moving/standing still, then if it hits 0 (or full) she escapes?

As I said I'm trying to focus on the core gameplay as much as I reasonably can right now, as I've wasted a lot of time already on other "hey it would be cool if.." things that aren't too important. If they were naked in public I assume people would approach them, then you get fucked in jail by bubba. Unless you mean inside the cell? Yeah, I was thinking button mashing at first, but it also seemed a bit awkward.

I was thinking of their/your strength/dexterity/etc would have some degree of amplifier on how quickly the bar would go up/down (regardless of if there is button-mashing involved - the other idea I had was that if you stand in one place it goes down slower or maybe goes up, but walking decreases it since it's hard to walk and hold onto a fighting loli).

What about instead of button-mashing there's are "punch", "choke" buttons? That way if she's more docile she will stop her fight, but feistier lolis will continue fighting back (and thus both of you end up getting more hurt). That way there's (possible) reason to avoid hitting too much (she will hate you more, etc) so you don't just spam the moves, and instead will be more stationary behind trees, etc and be more strategic in your route from grabbing->car.

Also I plan on having rope. That would take some time to use (say 20 seconds) so you'd only want to do that somewhere hidden, so you could grab her, pull her behind a bush, then tie her up. Rope would have a similar mechanic where you could hit her to try and stop her.

Maybe for rope the options would be "hit" and "hold down", where hold down would prolong the time it takes to tie her up, but would result in less damage to her. The idea being that more time spent doing that -> more time someone could find you. I could also make it switch to the dialogue GUI when you initiate rope tying to give more rich branching options, but that might be a bit awkward. What do you think?

No, and I think given some of the other UIs in the game, it wouldn't be reasonable. I did, however, consider right-hand-only-play (ie moving with mouse) but once I started adding in sprinting, sneaking, etc that didn't seem like a good idea either.

I guess you could just switch hands when dialogue starts? I mean both aspects are one-handed, it's just some are left-handed (keyboard) and some are right-handed (mouse). Besides throwing cans to distract lolis there's not really anything right now that requires both at the same time. And you probably shouldn't be masturbating in the middle of sneaking around trying to kidnap the loli in the first place…

The pre-alpha-0.2 demo had anal rape as well as vaginal. While I didn't have any anal in the playing-doctor scene (I could add it though - I'm really not a butthole kind of guy so it wasn't on my mind), there was definitely going to be anal sex using this bent-over pose, just as with the old scene.

Well, there will also be a physically forceful one too like in the old demo (which basically was push loli on ground -> choose which hole -> rape until you cum). But the old one was probably like 10-13 messages long for the entire rape flow (5 shared set-up (push/get on top of/etc) then 5 more for vaginal route, and 8 more for anal). And that's with zero variance (always same for all lolis - no randomization, no differences based on loli stats / player arousal / loli arousal, like with the current playing doctor stuff). I scrapped that and will write one that is up to the depth-standards of the new stuff.

Pic is the old (vaginal though) rape scene (+ old pregnancy stuff - yes I know I used the same sprites for all ages of loli, but the one given birth is indeed young).

Right now there's no new animations for pregnancy. I'm not sure if I should bother for the demo since I didn't have any time-skip planned for it, unless someone can think of a good way to do that. Will make actual baby sprites eventually, but only for very limits animations (ie just crawling probably?) and no dialogue with them until they turn 4 and can be treated as the kindergartner-age-bracket loli.

Those gifs show promise, I've played similar games - what would make it better is to have multiple options or branches when you're deeper into a "scene" lets call it. You go from 4-5 options down to just one which seems lazy honestly. The game is pixelart, which isnt bad it can be simple, but that means the dialogue carries the game heavily, which means it should be the focus other than the technical aspects of development. I would also add maybe still pictures or a couple frame loop for some of the dialogue options for most of the "scenes".

It's extra work but its turns it from a game I'd play for maybe 30 minutes to something I'd want to explore multiple times. I don't know what you're going for though, if this is even something you want.

That is the old dialogue from over a year ago. As explained in the post it was linear and static (same every time), and I was in the middle of making it less linear and more extensive + more varied (based on RNG / loli's stats / etc).

I already cut out that entire dialogue arc (the anal/vag rape one) and am in the middle of replacing it with stuff with actual variance.

That rape scene was just something thrown together for the old demo. You'll get something more like the reverse_doctor.gif in >>78935

(note: you only see probably 1/8 of the dialogue I had written for the reverse-doctor in that gif though, since a lot depends on the loli's personality + (mostly) on the loli's blowjob/handjob skill level + also some RNG.
