Yes, the in-game lag is something we're aware of. It has to do largely with auto-tiles, and that the engine we're on just does not play well with seamlessly connected maps. Tweaks are constantly being added around.

Also, please provide a screenshot of that error message you are talking about if you could. That alone doesn't really give us much to work off of.

We're currently working on a better system for releasing incremental hotfix patches… which is almost done, so I was waiting for that to be finished before I pushed out any more small patches.

That being said, I've got enough content done that a full version update release might be feasible soon anyways…

Are you thinking of Moemon perhaps? That was a project that replaced all of the Pokemon sprites with little girls wearing pokemon cosplay costumes (but SFW stuff).

This is a game made from scratch using RPG Maker XP. Anything I add I have to recreate or create myself, minus some of the art assets taken from the official games. It's not a ROM Hack.

Which maps are you noticing the fps drops on the most? Does it still happen in the tiny indoor maps (i.e. like inside the Pokemon Centers)?

I try my best to minimalize the fps lag, but some is inevitable, particularly on the larger outdoor maps (i.e. Route 69), and especially for any map that uses seamless transitions between areas (i.e. Route 69 to Route 71).

RPG Maker XP is just really not well optimized unfortunately…

If you were playing for a long time, it's possible that there was a memory leaking issue. There's a problem with the memory allocation for the GIF player plugin I was using. I've been trying to convert everything to using different methods for playing animations, but there are still a couple of GIFs left (none of the h-scenes, though, just a few battle sprites).

Thanks! I often forget to update the warp points when I'm moving things around on maps. I've fixed it, it will be included in the next update/hotfix.

There isn't really anything to do in those rooms currently so just use the Debug Unstuck Teleporter item to warp out of there for now and avoid using the warp points on the Private Rooms map.

Didn't realize that was even a tool available. There was also a problem that I dont know if it still exists with the entry exit points to that area.

Like when you exit to the right (outside the club) and go to where the guard says no and go back you end up back in town (with the magikarp) on the left side of that station. You enter exit to the right and you become trapped on the left side of the magikarp.

I got unstuck by going in the door and immediately back out and coming out of the station to the left of the club.

It was super weird and I don't know if I was able to explain it very well.

Locational variants are definatly a thing that's planned. I've already got a system in place that defines what each map is (i.e. like cave, snowy, field, forest, water, etc.) for these sort of things.

However, this is pretty low on the priority list and probably won't be something I get around to making all the small variations for (i.e. mud) till the rest of the animations are done. :P

This is kinda old now, but it seems the timed thing does work for me,(at least the Flygon in the cave event, that leaves behind the pheremones. I haven't tested to see if it works on the hour though). But it's kinda glitchy, like the Flygon isn't there waiting, I had to just check the place where it would be manually and it gave the text for when you encounter it the first time and left the item behind.

So yeah, it works, just is a bit glitchy.

For anyone using the Updater tool, please know there's a small bug causing a soft-crash with the program.

After a certain point, it will stop attempting to move patch files over and will either unlock the "Check for updates" button, or tell you it has finished updating. But there will still be unmoved files left in the download location.

For right now if you use this tool, please use the "Open download folder…" menu option under "Options" to access the patch files so you can move them into your game directory.

The simplest way is to just drag all folders/files in the "Patch" folder, into your game directory. And allow any files to be overwritten. This will accomplish the same task.

The updater will be patched and updated shortly after I finish adding everything I need to.

So just a quick update: Sorry I haven't been posting as many previews lately, but I've had some irl stuff that took precedence over game development lately. That doesn't mean I haven't gotten a lot done, though, just that progressed slowed down a tad over the last month or two.

I've been working on fleshing out the game world before I go back to working on specific content for each area. What this means is that most of my time lately has been spend getting at least the basic design layout for the maps of a lot of the planned areas done and hooked up to each other. I want to get most (or all) of the maps at least started for all of the areas on the main continent before I start working on specific small details for each of them again. I have a tendency to get "lost in the weeds" and spend days working on the finest tiny-ass details lol.

I also want to move the starting zone out of Port Town and to the game's intended home town. After I finish the basic map layouts, I will be finishing up the game's intro. I don't think that @AgeplayF1 has any free time anymore to work on this, and I just can't put off finishing this anymore.

The next update will be a very large one. Some stuff that it will include:

- Dozens of new maps.

- A bunch of new H-scenes.

- New core gameplay additions (i.e. Apricorn gathering).

- New quests.

- New Pokeride mounts.

…Etc.

I don't have an ETA on how long till the update is released at the moment.

The next version of the game will have tons of new maps (at least 100 new ones counting all the interiors), and more than triples the currently avaliable content.

Most of the areas in green are finished now, as are some of the others, too.

I've been holding off on releasing until the starting areas is finished so I can move spawn out of Port Town and have the game begin as a Pokemon game does vs. handing you tons of free stuff at spawn.

It's taking so long in part because by moving spawn to the home town and removing all of the free stuff, I need to have all of the maps filled in between there and some of the other areas, as well as ballance the gameplay, make sure there are enough wild pokemon to find and trainer encounters to get xp from, etc.

you should vary the speed more. it can be slow, then go fast, then slow again. now it's all same speed all the time, and the speed is kinda slow too

like, on the spanking animation

now, hand starts from top-left, then gets down and towards butt for like 2-3 frames, and then goes back up for also 2-3 frames

that means is goes down and back up at same speed

if the hand starts up, and then the very next frame it hits the butt, that is very fast movement

to emphasize the hit, you can have the hand stay in same place for a frame or two after fsast movement as the girl react to the spanking

i edited your anims a bit, mostly just removed a frame and duplicated another, and stuff

theres youtube vids about "12 principles of animation", like timing and spacing and anticipation, look it up, its thebest shit ever

you can make animations different if you stay on one frame longer, or drawing more or less images between two poses. like, how quickly does dick go in, 1 frame or 3 frames.

Some of the animations are done a certain way because of technical limitations, particularly the overworld animations. Overworld sprite sheets are limited to 4 frames of movement (up, down, left, and right). I can vary the speed per frame to a certain degree, but I'm also limited in the time jumps between frames. Essentially I have to use high level Wait commands, which I estimate that a Wait of 1 is roughly 60-70ms (not 100% sure about this, but it's close to that).

I'll try to keep that in mind for some of the other animations, though. I get better as I make more stuff, so my earlier animations are going to be lower quality that my later ones (as is true with my sprites). If it's bad enough, I redo them when I feel like I've gotten better enough to justify doing so.

1) The battle strip/rape system is still a low priority right now, since it will take a very long time to set up. I have started to build a sprite library for it, though. I.e. those starter animations for Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle are part of that library. I'll need a LOT of animations made, so I'm doing this in a bit of a more generic way, where pokemon and trainer sprites are made separately and any combination can be used with each other. That way I don't have to make 10,000+ unique animations. n.nU

2) I'm not sure I know what /ll/ means… Lesbian lover? There is only a bit of yuri content right now, though I do still plan to make more of it.

3) Sort of… I'm not sure this is ever going to change, either. There are some scenes that were written around this sort of content, and there's not too much I can do about it. The most I could probably do would be to skip the scenes, but that won't work in every scenario.

But… most of the content in this game is optional, so to speak. A lot of it is consensual, and even a good chunk of the scenes that are noncon give you warnings and chances to back out. There are only a few forced rape scenes that are required for the sake of progression.

I may need to write a custom script for that, but I'll look into it.

By the way, I did assign evolution stones to all of Eevee's evolutions to make things easier. I was never a big fan of happiness evolving to be honest. You can still evolve them with happiness if you want to, though - the stones are merely an alternative method.

Eevee will evolve into Espeon with a Dawn Stone, Umbreon with a Dusk Stone, Sylveon with a Shiny Stone, Glaceon with and Ice Stone, and Leafeon with a Leaf Stone. Additionally, a Sun Stone will make him evolve into Solareon, a fakemon I designed.

Ehhhh… It's really hard to guess at a percentage… But considering I'm the only person working on it, things aren't going that speedily.

Maybe… 25%? 40%? I'm not really sure… Over half of the planned maps are finished, almost all of trainer types have nude sprite made for them, etc.

The main plot hasn't really been started yet. Or rather, the implementation of the plot hasn't been started. I do have a lot of it planned out. I was waiting until most of the maps were done so I could get it all planned out at once.

Are you waiting until it's finished to play it or something? I mean there's been a beta avaliable since last August that I try update as regularly as I can.

I mean I could… but it would be a little strange for a lot of them for a bunch of reasons:

- A lot of them use the backdrop for parts of the scene, so I wouldn't be able to have them change depending on what map you're on.

- They're all non-con scenes, whereas the fuck option is consensual.

- Some of them involve multiple pokemon species.

But I'm working on ways to get the regional game over screens implemented anyways… Shouldn't be too terribly long before those are included in the game as they were intended to be used.

There is an error loading the game that's caused because certain variables aren't initialized yet. I never would have run across the issue in my testing because as I was writing the code, I got those variables initialized in a different, safer way.

I also overhauled the Tate and Liza missionary animation. I'd always meant to go back and fix this one, and it only took me an entire year to get around to it lol.

What else… I redrew all of Leaf's overworld sex animations with various Pokemon (including the Hypnos). The sprite I'd used before was much too large compared to her standard overworld sprite.

I've been doing more overworld animations lately for a few reasons:

- They transition more seamlessly from event to sex scene.

- They take far less time to draw.

Beyond that, I'm still working on getting all of the maps done, among other things. These two sprites I posted here are part of a large scene that takes place in this new town.
