Greetings. We are glad to have you here. This little corner is our /lounge/. You can come here and relax, with the imageboard format we all love. Unlike other imageboards, you are free to use avatars, as well as tripcodes. We can talk about anything, and nothing at the same time. This board is mostly a social place, to share anything with everybody. However, there are some rules.

1- The global rule will always apply.

2- Using the board to perform raids, and other cyber-attacks, is not allowed.

3- Discussion about pornographic material involving underage people is not allowed.

4- Porn is allowed, but it should be spoilered.

5- You cannot avatar as real people who are not famous or relevant.

6- Harassment of posters is not allowed.

7- Advertisement and solicitations are not allowed.

8- Moderation discussion is only allowed in this thread. Begging to be a mod is a banneable offence.

Please, feel free to use this thread to discuss anything about the site. This is, at the moment, a work in progress.

Thank you for your attention.

Been thinking about it for a while. The price point doesn't hurt me, that much, compared to the space requirements.

Needs a dedicated room with a fair bit of space.

Don't really have that.

Cyborg's body got disassembled, because in that episode, he's circuits are damaged by water/fluids. So the other Titans say they'll repair him, but of course they can't, so they upload his mind into the Tower's computer. Cyborg becomes a HAL-9000-like being and turns his friends into parts of the tower - objects they had to fight before.

I don't know if this counts, but I really liked playing around with the ammo crafting system in Fallout: New Vegas. To my mind, it set the guns in that game above just being the tool you use to kill things and made them more things to become attached to. It was the first game to get me to sympathize with how someone might enjoy collecting and shooting firearms without wanting to actually hurt anyone.

The Battle of the Alamo (February 23 – March 6, 1836) was a pivotal event in the Texas Revolution.

Ferenc Novák (Slovene: Franc Novak, Prekmurje Slovene: Ferenc Novak) (December 7, 1791 – January 21, 1836) was a Hungarian Slovene Roman Catholic priest and writer.

Enlightened absolutism ended in Hungary under Leopold's successor, Francis II (ruled 1792–1835), who developed an almost abnormal aversion to change, bringing Hungary decades of political stagnation.

The most popular of Hungary's great reform leaders, Lajos Kossuth, addressed passionate calls for change to the lesser nobles. Kossuth was the son of a landless, lesser nobleman of Protestant background. He practiced law with his father before moving to Pest. There he published commentaries on the Diet's activities, which made him popular with young, reform-minded people. Kossuth was imprisoned in 1836 for treason. After his release in 1840, he gained quick notoriety as the editor of a liberal party newspaper. Kossuth argued that only political and economic separation from Austria would improve Hungary's plight. He called for broader parliamentary democracy, rapid industrialization, general taxation, economic expansion through exports, and abolition of privileges (equality before the law) and serfdom. But Kossuth was also a Hungarian patriotic whose rhetoric provoked the strong resentment of Hungary's minority ethnic groups. Kossuth gained support among liberal lesser nobles, who constituted an opposition minority in the Diet. They sought reforms with increasing success after Francis's death in 1835 and the succession of Ferdinand V (1835–48). In 1844 a law was enacted making Hungarian the country's exclusive official language.

Fine, fine.

If I had to say, then, I'd like the abilities of Rimuru, from that one slime comic.

I like the concept of shapeshifting, and his abilities have enough limitations as well as utility for me to think they're pretty much what I'd like, I think.

The big one being able to "create" things, so to speak, as opposed to being stuck with just the appearance of things.

A dragon'd be the obvious one. There's also a wide range of more practical items, of course. A large part of the appeal'd be not having to deal with scrapes and bruises and bodily pains or other similar weaknesses of the flesh.

Outside of that, I think I'd just end up trying on new 'suits' as it were, flipping through various looks and styles of things. Not necessarily all humanoid, of course.

It'd probably be a tad better prior to the dragon's power upgrade.

The spidercomic had a bit better power-balancing. Plus, I like the whole "You have to train to get abilities" thing.

Still, slime's probably immortal, pretty nearly invincible, and has a rather insane level of utility.

So, as a 'wish' choice, seems to make sense to me.

No idea. Seems to be an old /k/ video, floated around there for ages. I just kind of collect what I like to call "warwave" videos.

Basically just slightly modified tracks over war footage.

I should visit /k/ more often. I haven't been there in a while. You ever go fishing? I live near the intersection of 3 rivers, but I'm not sure I'd want to eat any fish in them. I'm eating some salmon now (bought from the supermarket).

I used to, when I was younger. Don't really like fish, though, so I never had much reason to keep at it.

Do you eat flax seeds? Many Americans are deficient in omega-3. I eat salmon occasionally to bump my intake of omega-3.
