Alright /loz/, I'll try to get this started. I'm a person who hasn't played since Wind Waker, what have I missed?
General best new games/new moments thread.

you should give Twilight Princess a try.
I didn't really like Skyward Sword.
Can't speak for the handheld titles since GBC.

I'd definitely play A Link Between Worlds for 3DS. It's a direct sequel to A Link to the Past and is absolutely fantastic. Honestly it might be my favorite.

>>4My brother had Twilight Princess right before I moved out. I loved the graphics, but never played it. I'll download an ISO since I don't have a wii/gc anymore, I've been going back and playing WW on Dolphin lately, it really takes me back. Thanks m8!
>>5I'll check that out, I loved A Link to the Past. It had a nice feel to me.

>>2If you enjoyed Wind Waker, I would suggest you play Phantom Hourglass, since it is the sequel. I'd also recommend Hyrule Warriors. I don't think Hyrule Warriors is cannon, but I hear its still a great game.

>>4A Link Between Worlds is really great. It has a really nice open world feel to it. I am also enjoying playing through Phantom Hourglass at the moment. It is challenging, and its pretty fun. I can't speak for Spirit Tracks, though. I've heard its not supposed to be too good though.

>>11Hyrule Warriors doesn't count as a main series Zelda game, as the gameplay is like Dynasty Warriors. However it includes items, locations, and characters from almost all of the Zelda games and is really fun if you're a big Zelda fan.

>>14Aren't there some new characters in Hyrule Warriors as well? And aren't some of the characters in Smash?

>>17 There are a few original characters that tie in with the story but I don't think any of them appear in Smash.

While Skyward Sword may not be the best Zelda game, the watercolor art style is beautiful, the eastern-styled architecture is really cool, and it's pretty fun.

•Twilight Princess is one of my top 3
•Minish Cap is fantastic
•Phantom Hourglass added neat features to the boat and expand on the lore of the universe
•Spirit Tracks I felt to be underrated. The pan flute will fuck you over and mess up the flow of the game sometimes, but other than that I felt like it was solid, and I hope to see more of New Hyrule in later installments of the Adult Link Timeline
•Too poor for a Wii U, so I didn't play SS, but I heard it's good if you can tolerate Fi.
•Link Between worlds was really cool, and the implementation of 3D elements made the puzzles that much more interesting.

>>74Agreed. I love Minish Cap.
