Welcome to /lulze/, the home of trolling and trolling accessories!

I'm pretty new to the whole board-owning scene, but I'm going to use this post to explain what I want this board to be all about.

When I was growing up, trolling was some of the funniest shit ever. Raids, bating, etc. are by and large gone from the internet in 2015, and this can serve as a concentrated effort to bring that kind of mentality back. This board can be used to coordinate attacks on other sites, boards, whatever you want, as long as someone's willing. And if they're not, we encourage you to do it solo if possible and post a trophy of your success here.

I'm aware that they exist, and I support their efforts, but to me it seems that /baphomet/ wants to be more of a "personal army" kind of board, whereas this is primarily for FUNNY trolling and griefing. Your goal here as a user of /lulze/ should be to keep the fish on the hook as long as possible, and to entertain your fellow trolls. Above all, you should remember to do it for the /lulze/

Edit 10/5/15: As of today, this board is "allied" with /baphomet/, feel free to ask them for help with your raids, and keep them in the loop if you can. We faggots have to stick together, you know.

I guess I'll talk about my particular area of expertise when it comes to trolling, as much as I can at least, so that we can kind of kick the sticky off.

Manipulation is a technique that's very difficult to master if you don't have much of a talent for it. I will say, however, that a great deal of it involves finding the right target/mark. Now, I'm not saying that there are targets that are so stupid they'll fall for anything. Even the dumbest people can tell when they're being le ebin bamboozled if you don't do it correctly. A common trap many people fall into is the idea that you need to 'defend' yourself pre-emptively, to prove yourself to them and legitimize yourself. This is incorrect. If they're having doubts you're already losing ground, because they're thinking "can I trust this guy?" rather than what you want them to think. And that's really the goal of manipulation in my opinion, to make them believe what you want them to believe, without your target knowing you're doing it.

If you want to prepare ahead of time for a successful manipulation, it helps a LOT to have folders filled with "identities" you can use, nudes in particular are extremely helpful here, especially for things like catfishing. What i mean when I say identities, is basically countless photos that seem like they were "just taken", like selfies. These are used to verify your identity, as only having one picture of "yourself" can often raise suspicion with your target. Now, while these are useful, they'll usually only work on idiots, people you find on sites like omegle, where the users are starved for human interaction.

Also, about lying to your target, it's best to avoid this. I realize I'm talking now about deliberately deceiving people, and you need to realize that I don't mean you should only tell them the truth. What I mean is, it's much better for you to only give them information that's believable, but cannot be verified. Go for "i don't know" answers rather than a definitive yes or no. This way they'll have to "reach out" in the conversation, and accuse you of lying about what you know if they're having doubts. It's very risky for them to do this so it's extremely unlikely that they will.

Indeed, there are a few things that should be prepared in advance, mostly the pictures and the general idea of where you want to go with the characters. But where and how can one find a stash of ready to use pictures that can't be backtracked ?

And as you said, not overdoing it and leaving some parts open won't raise any alarm. Think: theatricality and deception.

Personally i've been using omegle, it's very easy to get into people's heads on there. Once you get some free pictures of someone you can use them to fool others and add to your growing collection of masks.

One other trick we can borrow from the opposition, is the use of the block and report.

If suspicion arises, or if the exchange starts to stretch (it often goes hand in hand). Be the first to shoot, call them harassing troll, block and report.

It's really confusing when your on the receiving end. Works best with an audience.
