Sir, you have not been to FOSDEM the last two years, have you? Here, there aren't (m)any people who believe what they say about anything; even their proprietary database program. Have a definition list.
Libre: or "Free as in freedom". A piece of software where the four essential freedoms are preserved. This is usually done by publishing the source code.
Nonfree: programs which are not "libre" or "free as in freedom"
Gratis: No monetary payment required. Alternative revenue streams are sometimes achieved by spying on the user, selling their data and time and justifying it in a 18-page eula.
Open: Code of which the source code is available.
Proprietary: owned by a person or company and sold under a trademark or patent. Also used to denote nonfree programs.
Commercial: relating to business. Also used to denote software sold "per unit".
For an example of a nonlibre, nonopen, gratis proprietary commercial product, check out "Facebook"
For an example of a libre open non-gratis proprietary commercial product, check out "GNAT Pro". Or, in that respect, other stuff by adacore. Have a video for context: http://www.irill.org/videos/fosdem-2012/maintracks/Free_Software__A_Viable_Model_for_Commercial_Success.webm
