Well guys, it's been a good few days. We shot up to 29 unique posters. Yes I have been checking, I am that sad. I promised myself I would make this thread when we hit page 2.
I decided to change the css theme because this blue default is fugly. Thanks to /g for pointing me towards the one they use:

If you fancy being a mod then send me an e-mail. There will be no bans, NO BANS, made by mods. If you are banned, e-mail me. All posts are backed up at 8archive.moe, so nothing deleted is lost forever, however we don't appear on there just yet. The "job" will involve coming back every once in a while to check we are not getting flooded. And also prune posts that break the only rule, no proprietary games. Inane comments are permitted, unless way way off topic. This is posted here for users as much as it is for future mods.
Lastly, board shilling. I have shilled pretty hard to give the community a good start. Starting threads on boards for discussion about how free software licences can apply to the video game industry and linking back to /lv. Seemed pretty harmless to me but the owner of /tech had this to say: "If I catch you advertising your board again, I won't be so lenient." Regardless of how much I enjoyed that conversation I am going to give the shilling a rest to see how low our poster count drops to. However please continue to recommend /lv as much as you like, I have not given up.
