Croteam, the developers behind the Serious Sam games and The Talos Principle, have opened up their source code for Serious Engine v. 1.10 under the GPLv2 license.

WOW! Fuck! This is great!

Where did you hear about this?

 No.1838

Wow, this is seriously quite surprising to me considering these fucking sellout cocksuckers have been so intent on ruining this series with DRM ever since BFE.

Ryan is a good man who does great work, but I can find his politics a difficult pill to swallow.

I don't know if anyone here ever played ryans port before but you should be warned it was full of bugs. I played it back in 2004 IIRC and it was nearly unplayable. To this day I still haven't completed the game. It's good news his source is getting released but there is going to be a lot of work before this is playable.

>ryan port is full of bugs

geeh whiz I wonder why

 No.1850

Well I wouldn't say rayns' work is generally of poor quality. I have enjoyed all his ports since loki went and they are generally on par with the studio release on other platforms.
