What I find funny is that people were whining and moaning when we first moved here that Toku was on the same board and that Tokufags would quickly flood out the /m/ posters and take over the board.

Same with halfchan, really.

There is 2 gundam seasons airing concurrently so there would be a rise in gundam related discussion, also as a result of the build fighters line we have had a lot of new kits showing up that has a lot of people excited once again running up more discussion. We also have gundam the origin manga slowly being released in English and a recent PV for the OVA of the same.

And even all that aside gundam is the larges mecha franchise it makes sense it would have more threads about it.

Back when people bitched about it daily on half chan, I ran numbers. Gundam usually takes up 30% of all the threads on /m/. And yet they bitched about toku which took about 10 -20% (These days it's much lower due to generals) But yeah, gundam is always the dominant force.
