What the actual serious fuck is this shit. I was promised something completely different by you lot, it's just another "Always Right MC is never questionable, and acts like a naiive faggot ass bitch but wins anyway because he sided with the feddie scum". The fuck is the point of even showing any kind of fucking combat, everyone knows fucking nothing can damage a gundam, except another fucking gundam. I was really looking forward to that gouf custom too.

The gundams in the show are mass production types, which aren't covered in luna-titanium. They're basically GM's dolled up to look like gundams.

They're like an even crappier version of the Gundam MkII from Zeta.

Spoilers: An ACGUY punches the head off one of the gundams later on, and they repair it by straight up giving it a GM head.

The love story is retarded, ALMOST as retarded as the one from 0083, but at least the other characters outright call him a moron and go so far as to court martial him for getting too chummy with the enemy.

0080: War in the pocket remains the best UC spinoff, and in my opinion the best single bit of the entire gundam franchise.

still, probably one of my favorite gundam series so far because of the focus on ground combat instead of space combat and the glorious gouf

Quality Control. It's obvious when the Federation built the Gundam, they set the bar for quality high. There were probably a lot of parts that didn't pass and instead of trashing them, the Federation slapped them together into the Ground Gundam. Which makes sense, since the Federation needed every mobile suit it could get its hands on at the time. From what I remember of the lunar titanium, it was only put on key areas and the rest was standard armor.

IIRC, the only parts that are luna titanium are the parts that look different than the GMs, like the chest and head. The limbs and waist should be GM [G] parts.
