So I finished watching Escaflowne the other night, I only faintly remembered like the 3 episodes it had on toonami or something back when i was a kid
It was kinda homo but I liked the setting and the guymelefs
How's the movie?
Escaflowne/fantasy mech thread?
I'll check back for replies in a week

I think it used to air on Fox.

That kinda sums up the entire series.

I really liked this series but it felt like it did everything it wanted to do like 16 episodes in and then they had to wrap it up with the remaining ones. I'm always a sucker for shoujo or love stuff being combined with mecha stuff so I enjoyed it a lot.

I started it very recently, but lost interest after the halfway mark. Just seemed pointless and…underdeveloped? That's probably a criticism that can be leveled at many anime plots after the first twelve episodes or so.
The thing where they hunt dragons for their hearts and then use them to power knight armor is pretty fuckin' sweet though.
