We did, the other was becoming useless with shit posting and arguments.

To keep it on topic, I really dig all the G Gundam in this series but I feel like there has been zero build up to it. Try Burning is basically God Gundam and that palm strike against Denial was essentially God Finger.

On top of that, how many episodes do we have left? It's not a lot at this point and I'm concerned we are going to get zero resolution with the Reiji and Sei stuff. Sei might show up at the end but we're not going to get an explanation or any real meat to the core story.

Okay, Yuuma is alright. He's an asshole, but I'm cool with that.

GBFT is really missing a Sei type of character - someone who is CLEARLY in love with the Gundam franchise and is an absolute dork about it.

Even if the good staff hadn't gone to something else (I think many folks went on over to G-Reco after GBF), I don't think it would change much. Try came out way too soon after GBF ended. There wasn't enough time to flesh things out properly. They could have done better, yeah, but I don't think there would be much difference.

I think they try to present Fumina and Yuuma both as this character, but it doesn't work. Every now and again, one of them will go, "Oh, it's based off of the MS ____ !"

That's it. It doesn't measure up to Sei "Loves Gundam So Much He'll Slap Himself While Reenacting 0079" Iori.

Last few episodes were pretty good in my opinion.

Though I really hope that next season they'll have a main character with more moves than throwing a haymaker with his right fist.

The supporting characters had all the best fights.
