>16 unique IPs
Jesus christ. I hope you guys pick up speed in the future. I'm going to try to be more diligent about posting here too. Maybe most of you haven't gone back to halfchan, but I wouldn't blame you at this point.
Just remember that /a/ loves you, and you're always welcome to make threads there if you want.
No.6566
Unfortunately there hasn't been much impetus for an exodus from halfchan /m/
No.6567
Most of the people here are crossboarders who left on principle, even if there wasn't anything wrong on half/m/. According to the mod irc leaks, no one actually bothered to moderate /m/ so that may be why.
No.6568
>>6567Yeah, and that's why I can't really blame and /m/en for not wanting to make the jump. I do think it's a matter of time for the whole site to go bad, and even /m/ won't be safe, but I still love the board and the guys that post there.
No.6569
Yeah, eventually the halfchan will complete it's implosion and hopefully some of the other /m/en might make the jump. Until then we just try and keep making quality threads to attract more people.

>>6567There are problems with 4/m/, it's just that the problem is the literally retarded shitskin userbase.

No.6582
>>6564here's the thing, /m/ is niche so we have no danger of being attacked by halfchan mods or admin
/a/ is broad and thus was part of a culling
for /m/ right now there is no real need to be here, we post to keep the board here alive as an alternative as our two other chans we could escape to are either dead or flooded with CP posting bots
when/if the time comes /m/ will probably move here, we aren't as shit flinging as /v/ or any other board and the only people who'd still be on halfchan at that time are the newfags
No.6584
>>6567Yeah, I never really had any problems on half/m/. I left because of basically every single other board that I frequented, and now I just sort of refuse to go on halfchan at all. I do hope this place picks up, of course, but I recognize that most of /m/ has no reason to leave.
>>6573Maybe it's just because I haven't been there in a while, but I don't really remember SEEDfags being any sort of problem. I think it was almost universally regarded as being pretty lame.
I mean, y'know, unless you count Flay.
No.6590
I'd rather have 16 unique IPs with a minimum of SEEDfags, Build Fighter Kiddies and Robot Girls Z moeshits, than a few hundred posters with shit taste.
>>6570>/pol/ack>feddie flag No.6593
>>6590This board has, like, one post every two hours. It's slow enough that I wouldn't even consider it to have proper "discussions" at all. I dunno about you, but I'd rather not have to wait *days* for another post in a thread on an imageboard.
While I'd agree that it's typically better to have a small but dedicated community with good taste than a larger community with a relatively large amount of shit taste, half/m/ was ALREADY a "small but dedicated community". 8/m/ is a straight-up ghost town. I just think it should be active enough for actual, y'know, conversations to take place.
No.6595
How do you even check IPs anyway?
No.6601
Always remember.
Every little bit helps.
I'm just happy anyone at all posts here.
No.6602
I keep forgetting to check this place. Sorry.
No.6611
>>6595It's in the boards page.
>>6601Cheers for keeping up with the place, BO. I love /m/ even if I'm mainly a dirty crossboarder from /a/. We've got you up on the little advertisement now, so maybe we can get some more people here. Hopefully they are pure cancer.
No.6612
If there were any chance of this place growing I might post more often. But this place is kinda doomed. Mecha anime is anime so its not like we need to be separate but it feels bad to leave toku to die.
No.6629
guys dont worry no matter how slow it gets its never going to be as slow as /vr/

Confirmed for Infinite Stratosbabby who wants to ruin the last bastion of good anime on the internet.
No.6648
I try to do my mech posting on /a/ along with other stuff. 4chan /m/ is fast enough but just slow enough that there's no point for an alternative. Unfortunately no 8fags are watching fafner or reco but aldnoah has a big thread.
No.6721
My brother goes on half/m/ occasionally, but probably not enough for me to explain the whole situation of 8chan and convince him to start coming here. It's a shame, though, since he'd make a great drawfag.
sage because I find these kind of threads pointless, but at least it's adding to the post count (I think)

I think this /m/ is a good speed to make threads for news and important announcements. For example, the victory BDs.

This is actually a good thing.
Hell, the fact that you're from /a/ and you're actually pretty cool is telling. Smaller communities have always been better. Even halfchan back in 2006 was better than how it is now.

>noticing threads getting bumped

Welp, it was good while it lasted. /m/en will never know peace.
