I'm intrigued. But there's no way this will happen. It'll fall apart before it gets filmed.

 No.7655

It'll get to a pilot, that pilot will never be picked up.

I do hope I'm wrong though.

 No.7667

I'm more interested in downloading the leaked pilot and speculating what might have been than I'm interested in watching a Galaxy Quest tv show every week.

Spaceballs showed us that sometimes dead is better.

There was an attempt at a failed spaceballs tv show? I guess I'm better off not knowing the answer to that.

Spaceballs the animated series with a large chunk of the surviving cast returning to voice the characters and Mel Brooks theoretically involved somehow.

If there wasn't Futurama it wouldn't have been so meh, but it was basically a mediocre mashup of The Critic and Futurama.

You could do a lot worse, but it sure wasn't as good as Spaceballs.

Sounds like I missed a bullet.

I always thought what Spaceballs needed was a proper sequel (well, prequel) parodying the Star Wars prequels. Then again, it's entirely possible that Spaceballs turned out so good because the subject matter being parodied was stuff that Mel Brooks actually liked, so eh.

Yeah the show was pretty shit from what I saw.
