It's mecha forced upon a low-tech fantasy planet by an alien from the same race as the galactic peacekeepers. It is in all honesty fantasy as fuck, even playing on the prince of a lost kingdom archetype in shota form but the ride itself is good. It's all got Chirico dual-wielding axes in his flying scopedog so it's mandatory watching regardless.
