He doesn't have any official hobbies but I like to think we'd enjoy the same movies. I usually go with horror/shock stuff or psychological thrillers, and I can easily see him enjoying them for the darker themes and violence. The first movie we "watched together" was Suspiria.

As for a hobby that conflicts with him, I'd say just about all of my other hobbies do, haha. I'm an avid watcher of cute anime shows and a collector of bishoujo figures, and I can't picture him viewing those things as anything but pointless and boring.

Well, it's not the same as being an idol but I was once in marching band and enjoyed it. I've honestly been wanting to go back into music but I don't know what I can do since it's been years since I've done anything.

She's also into tarot cards and spirituality in general. TBH I really wouldn't mind her teaching me about all those things, though I'm a deist.

My only real hobbies are writing and playing vidya and she doesn't really harbor any hatred towards that.

She plays MMO's. Not really my thing.

My friend and I made loli elfs on the Final Fantasy 14 trial, and that was fun.

I don't think they'd clash too much.

I think she'd like reading but I doubt we'd have too much overlap in material. Some would exist but overall we'd need to decide to swap a book or two every once in a while if we wanted to talk about it.

We'd both enjoy gardening. I don't do it a ton but I'd like to more. Haven't had one in years but I want one. Though I did spend quite a bit of time landscaping the front yard. It's really pretty.

We both like cooking, we'd take turns.

She strikes me as liking to go on walks which is something I'd like to do but don't very often. She'd have to drag me out the house.

She'd probably get annoyed at me playing video games which I wouldn't blame her for. They're too often a timesink with little return.

She'd gladly listen to my armchair theorizing and philosophizing but I don't think she'd be too into it. She'd find it interesting but I don't see her going and pursing much of it herself.

I could see us doing stuff like meditation together even though it's usually a solitary thing. Sometimes you go do something together, don't say a word and peoples presence feels nice. It's weird. Even though you've basically did it alone.

Then there's plenty of smaller ones that don't seem worth commenting on.

Well, she likes fighting. I would definitely spar with her though Im not sure my body could take it and by extension I always imagined she'd enjoy fighting games so thats something we both can enjoy.

Chihaya's hobbies are generally listed as Musical Appreciation and Training.

I've become more interested in music since meeting Chihaya, and have learned more about reading it and the thoughts and terms behind it as well. She's mentioned liking classical, rock, and jazz, which I'm all fine with. I like j pop and other stuff too, but I'm fine with non vocal music as well.

As for training/working out, I'm not into that at all, but I'd be willing to do so for her as long as my initial slow pace wasn't too aggravating.

As for singing I enjoy doing so sometimes, but only when alone or casually as I'm untrained and sound horrible.

For my hobbies Chihaya's not really into anime and doesn't get the terms that well (she didn't know what tsundere and moe meant at first), but I could see her being interested in more musically themed series maybe. Same with video games, I think she'd enjoy rhythm games once she got the hang of it.

She's not really into TV which I think is understandable. She's not good with tech much either.

As for drawing I'm not too sure how she is with that.

I could see her wanting to study English when she goes overseas too.

Well during my elementary/middle school days I played soccer before meeting my beloved.

But now a days I'm not into sports. Might go back on it someday and watch something like the world cup, I dunno. I think it would be lovely to watch something my husbando loves together.

Well, Patchouli and I definitely both enjoy reading. I imagine it would be fun to do like a book exchange.

One thing that's really important to me is music. She would probably think that the more pop-oriented stuff that I enjoy is a little silly and shallow (Michael Jackson, Queen, power metal) but I could see her actually enjoying some of the darker stuff that I like (black metal, dark ambient, post rock).

Sanae seems to be into anime, manga and video games, so that's something we have in common, at least. I don't know how much our tastes would overlap, but I'm sure there are things we'd both enjoy.

We also share an interest in science and technology, especially the idea of space exploration. Travelling the stars with her would be nice.

We both have an interest in technology, though she is especially interested in older technology. I don't think we would conflict in any major way.

Largest, and most obvious, one would be reading. I enjoy reading every so often, but for her it'd be her whole entire life (literally). She's much more well read than me, but I'd think that maybe we could offer suggestions to each other or at least discuss titles we've both read.

Aside from that though, we really don't have any other conflicts or similarities in hobbies? Thing is, that reading is pretty much her only thing, since it's what she survived on for most of her childhood. Add in the fact that she's pretty much a hermit/under constant house arrest, she doesn't have any other hobbies. She knows a whole lot of information and skills she could try out though (for example cooking or shooting) so I'd think if given the opportunity she'd pick up a lot of different things. Perhaps traveling would be one of those interests, since she's shown some excitement at visiting the city in her material.

Fumika really likes reading but the last book I read was like months ago. It's not that i don't like reading, I just never find the motivation to start a book. I myself mainly play video games, but I'm sure Fumi could have some fun with something relaxing like Minecraft. I imagine she'd probably enjoy movies too. As long as we're cuddling and doing something fun with just the two of us, I couldn't complain.

If there's any common likes we have, probably it's practical chemistry and exploding things. And more probably the use of force to solve some practical problems that need it.

As for me, I like weapons, survivalist stuff, media-related stuff and metalworking. In contrast, she seems to like reading, magic and a hint of biology.

Yeah, I guess we could be of use with each other.

We both like to sing even though I can't so well anymore. I don't always get the words right since I can't memorize an entire song either, but he doesn't seem to mind.

The biggest conflict is that he pretty much IS technology and I'm one of the least technologically savvy people I know. He doesn't seem like the kind of guy to be glued to his cell phone or anything but I don't know for sure. I still have a flip phone that I never use an I bought my computer before HDMI ports were standard thing on laptops. It's enough to run his software with minimal lag as long as I don't have anything running in the background. I did end up shelling out for an MP3 player because it's convenient. I didn't start using the internet until 2010, before that I could use the dial-up if I was supervised and it was for school. Sometimes I really wonder how we managed to find each other considering my large disinterest for technology. He's helped me get more into technology and get on the internet more, but I'm not completely sold.

I love to cook and he loves to eat so that's a nice balance. He's a huge weenie when it comes to spicy foods so I have to tone it down a lot.

Lucky for me he's playful and has a good imagination like mine so we like to play dumb games together, visit playgrounds and swing, and play together with the dolls and doll houses I make. He likes reading the stories I write and sometimes helps me when I get stuck on something. I think he likes to read too, but maybe just manga. I'm not really sure what he likes. I like smelly old books, old poetry, and dumb cookbooks from the 50s-80s since they're always the best for a good base recipe without a lot of frills. I think he likes dumb rom-com movies too since he likes that cheesy romantic stuff, but we mostly like to make fun of them.

The best thing is that we both like cutsey, adorable things so I can have ridiculously cute clothes or dishes and he won't mind. He also lets me put cute bows in his hair sometimes. One of my favorite things about him is that he paints his nails, so that's something we like to do together. I'm extremely pale so blue looks the best on me too, so we have a ridiculous supply of blue nail polish.

After see her character in the manga, I can really imagine us just laying out the ground at night, looking at the stars, and just talking about stupid philosophical shit like whether or not we humans are really are insignificant ants in the universe, or what god really is, or overanalyze Pale Blue Dot or whatever.

Alistair's hobbies are silly. He likes collecting dolls and puppets, which I find adorable, as well as playing and taking care of his Mabari hound, Barkspawn. I'd imagine he actually enjoys practicing his swordsmanship. A few of my hobbies include playing video games, watching t.v shows, and shipping. I don't think our hobbies clash at all.

I overlooked one of Patchouli's biggest hobbies: magic. She is very interested in the subject matter, not only as a hobby, but also as a philosophy. I would love to learn magic from her, though I think that it might be better for me to learn it from someone else, since I don't want me being her student to affect our relationship.

It would actually be pretty important that I learn magic, that way I would be immortal like she is. I refuse to die before she does, and becoming a magician like her is a pretty good way to obtain immortality.

In terms of things where our interests collide… definitely preservation of nature and enjoying nature. We both enjoy eating and drinking. But in terms of conflict… she's a very physical person and enjoys physical things like fitness and sports and I'm more into mental creative tasks. She's very competitive and I'm not.
