I don't think we had/have a thread like that yet, so let's do this.

ITT We talk everything related to antagonists, so characters that are in conflict with our waifu. Feel free to express and say whatever you like about it.

Like who are they, what have they done, how they've been threatening your waifu, did they regretted it, well, their whole story.

And also important how your waifu dealt with this and how she feel/felt about it.

In the case your waifu is an antagonist, do it the other way round, like why is she like that, what kind of effect the have on the universe and the other characters, their whole personality and most important how they end up at the end, and how you feel about everything upper.

Again feel free to express yourselves, this is not an easy subject since this one of the very reasons we want to protect her/him.

Don't even fear looking not very clear about stuff and just ask if there is something you don't understand.

Well, Love Live doesn't really have much in the way of character antagonists. I mean there's A-Rise who's the rival group but we don't see them even interact with μ's until the second season and Tsubasa in particular is more interested in Honoka than anyone. They don't do any underhanded moves or anything, just get them more motivated.

The conflicts are more of an internal nature for Nozomi herself, namely her handling her own loneliness.

Well this is going to be long.

In the first season of the Rozen Maiden anime Suigintou is the main antagonist. The reason she does what she does is out of love for her father.Fucking hate himShe wants what Rozen Maidens do:to meet with their father. In other to do so she needs to collect all Rosa Mystica[A.I] by "killing" all her sisters.Spoilers if you haven't seen the anime or read the manga. She ends up killing Souseiseki and taking her Rosa Mystica, manipulates an old guy in the anime to grab Suiseiseki attention, temporarily joins forces with a fake doll to take out the others.

Personality wise she is very caring to those she is close to, mean, spiteful, manipulative, selfish, very loyal, a bit arrogant, cynical, and ambitious.

As for what happens to her well she dies twice.once by hitting herself with last resort fire attack and by right second pic related.Thankfully she gets revived both times.

As for my feelings about.I dont really have much to say. Some would say that my waifu is evil.I disagree. She is not evil by any means, but she can be a bit ruthless and is a bit of a jerk.In spite of all this, I still love her.

As for the other two.I don't feel like talking about. They both caused me some form of pain.Kirakishou(second pic left) has appeared in certain nightmares and the other one Barasuishou was one who responsible for my waifu's second deathThe less said about them the better.

Bison, mainly. He killed her parents and took her eye. Although because of some comments she made towards Cammy; Cammy may have been the one that actually executed Bison's order while under his mind control.

She already whooped Cammy once in the anime movie, and we don't know what actually happened in her fight with Bison so I'm hoping if we see her in SFV I'll have some conclusion.

The main villains of Milky Holmes are the Gentlemen Thieves. A lot of G4's work is dealing with them and their activities. Unfortunately, in the show, G4 keeps failing to catch up to the Thieves, and since the main characters are the Milkies, G4 is usually incapacitated or in the background whenever the two sides fight.

I don't like negativity attached to my waifu's name but I really hate the antagonists in her franchise. Thinking about them makes my blood boil. She suffered so much because of them and they had no remorse and little reason. They ruined people's lives for fun and didn't even see her as a person. Absolutely disgusting. It makes me even madder knowing that she wasn't the only one.

>In the case your waifu is an antagonist, do it the other way round, like why is she like that

Well, she has a fetish for despair and enjoys both causing and feeling it, and that's the main reason for pretty much everything she did

>what kind of effect the have on the universe and the other characters

Not much, she left the entire world in ruins and killed the main characters' friends and family

>their whole personality

She has multiple personalities, actually.

A sophisticated/teacher-like personality, clinically depressed, cute/childish, narcissistic, vulgar/aggressive and one where she kinda talks like Dio.

>how they end up at the end

Happily killing herself

It makes me sad but at least she didn't suffer and I'm sure they're gonna bring her back for Danganronpa 3 somehow

spoilers ahead

This might be a bit long, but it's mostly due to how complicated things get.

>Whole story

The main antagonist of the series is Albert de Blois, Victorique's father, head of the Ministry of the Occult, and later the Prime Minister of Sauville for a short time. First and foremost a noble, what little the series reveals about his personal life, he's an eccentric and has quite a bit of both money and power at a young age.

As a young man, he observed Leviathan (an infamous alchemist) conjure gold from thin air for the King of Sauvilla in the late 19th century. At that moment he was captivated with the occult, and felt contempt for those who were abandoning religion and superstition for Science instead. Upon finding that Leviathan was a fraud, he still had faith in the Occult, but learned how it could be used to easily deceive and control others. At that point in time, he realized that he could take Sauville and build it into a world power if he played his cards right. First he needed a gray wolf, however.

Here is where Cordelia Gallo (Victorique's mother) comes into play. 1910, Saubreme, Sauville's capital, Albert has been watching Cordelia for quite some time at a local Cabaret club. He knows that she's an exiled gray wolf and takes the opportunity to kidnap, rape her, and keep her in captivity until she gives birth. Once Cordelia gave birth, he released her into an insane asylum and kept Victorique for himself. For at least 10 years Victorique was imprisoned in the de Blois Castle, locked away and given nothing but books to read. Military history, psychological theory, works of philosophers, scientific manuals, anything that would condition her into being a grand strategist. Moving her into the Academy library in her very young teens, he gave her an even wider selection of books to read, while keeping tabs on her at any given time. There was never a point where he didn't know where she was.

In early 1925, he used Victorique as a religious figure to stir the masses and prepare for the second world war. Using her gifted intellect and book knowledge, he managed to eliminate enemies of the state and position himself as PM as well as ally Sauville with Germany. During his grand inauguration speech, however, Cordelia set up an ambush and killed him, allowing Victorique to escape just before the war truly started. His death is assumed to cause the collapse of Sauville's political and military structure though, leaving the nation defenseless during the war.

>How he threatened her/did he regret it

Initially it was just with imprisonment and control, he broke her at a young age psychologically. By the time she was a teenager she was callous and cynical, but complacent to an extent. To sum it up in her own words, she didn't fear death because she had nothing to live for. Once she met Kujo, however, he used him to threaten her and keep her in line, whether it be by detaining, deporting, or killing him. He didn't regret it, however, as he saw her as a tool rather than a human being, which he mentioned multiple times.

>How she felt/dealt with it

She didn't really deal with it, nor did that pansy Kujo (which I will always hold against him for not manning the fuck up. A big reason why I don't think he deserves her love.) It was Cordelia who ended up killing him and herself in revenge. For the most part though, Victorique was indifferent about the man, never showing overt hate surprisingly. Perhaps she felt there was too little of a connection to even express feelings towards him.

>Overall what he did

-Caused Victorique to act the way she does

-Caused her to be a bastard child

-Assumed to be a partial cause of WW2

-Partially responsible for the destruction of Sauville during WW2 (Dresden-tier annihilation, main cities being totally flattened)

-Responsible for the death of Victorique's mother, Cordelia.

Overall he's a horrible man, but at the same time, without him Victorique never would have been born nor would she have had her personality. I can't just wish that he never existed because of that, but perhaps he could have treated her differently and yet still have gotten what he wanted. Friendly reminder that Kujo never stepped up to the plate to stop any of his plots either, thus making him an unfit protagonist or lover.

>In the case your husbando is an antagonist, do it the other way round, like why is he like that

He can only experience happiness and joy through the suffering of others. There's no reason for it, he was just born like that.

>what kind of effect the have on the universe and the other characters

Not a very good one, that's for certain. Without going into detail, he inflicts physical harm upon the protagonist and other characters, and comes close to causing the destruction of the world.

Things are a bit different in the third route. While he still fills the role of an antagonist, he and the protagonist are on surprisingly good terms throughout, and even team up once because they share the same goal at that point in time.

>their whole personality

On the outside, incredibly blunt and cynic, and at times sarcastic. He's mostly empty on the inside. He has a fully functioning moral compass and realizes what a messed up and horrible person he is, and he hates himself because of it.

>how they end up at the end, and how you feel about everything upper
He dies in all three routes, as expected. I have mixed feelings overall. It may be kind of strange for me to say this considering the kind of person he is, but I don't like seeing him suffer, and wish he could've at least had something resembling a happy ending.

If anything, I guess his death in the third route could be considered less painful than the others. He's defeated by the protagonist in a brawl to the death, and after accepting his defeat, he declares him the winner and dies with a smile on his face. His expression looks almost peaceful in his last event cg, probably because he was able to die with little regret.
Well it depends on whether you're talking about the TV series/first two movies or Rebellion.

In the TV series, the incubator's main goal was sustaining the life of the universe, even if it meant doing horrible things like lie to people in order to get them to face great suffering in order to accomplish said goal. Leaving how I feel about my waifu out of this, I've never agreed with their motivations because I feel that everything needs to die eventually, even the whole universe, and its better to live a shorter life with happiness than it is to sustain it painfully. Then again, I can see why they don't realize this when they are an emotionless race that puts survival over everything else.

In Rebellion, all of their moral ambiguity went straight out the window and landed in a radioactive swamp filled with dead mongooses. Their plan basically went like this

>capture Homura in her weakest state, before becoming a witch

>force her into an imagined reality and use her deepest desires to capture Goddess Madoka

>keep her in this fake reality and use it to study Goddess Madoka

>eventually, after learning enough, use this new-found logic to take control of Madoka and have unrestricted power over the universe, at the expense of Madoka and her well being

They then rightfully got BTFO when Homura took control of Madoka's old reign, wiped out the entirety of the Incubator race except for Kyubey, and then forced emotions onto Kyubey so that he could spend the rest of eternity reflecting on the horrors that he wrought throughout the universe. The moral of the story is not to fuck with my waifu or she'll wipe out your entire race with a wave of the hand using the power of love.

I'll try to be brief because I don't like dwelling on this.

Keisuke, for half of the VN, is considered an antagonist. He made a mistake, motivated by his desire to protect his best friend and be worthy in his eyes. He decided to take a drug that would make him stronger and heighten his senses, at the cost of his empathy and long-term thinking skills. Because he was an original test subject (although he didn't remember at the time), he was much more sensitive to the drug than others would have been, and got far stronger and bloodthirsty than other people who took it. I won't sugarcoat it; he murdered so many people for no reason at all, and even tried killing the person he most wanted to protect. There isn't any excuse for that.

Needless to say, when the effects of the drug wore off, he was horrified with everything he had done. I feel the same way. There is nothing he can do to make up for all the people he killed. He has to live with it for the rest of his life. I will not tell him that he was right or that it's okay, but I am okay with standing by him. He wasn't thinking clearly, but it was still him doing those things, so it's not an excuse. He will never make that mistake again, and is haunted by everything that he did, and that's why I can accept what he's done, even if I don't "accept" it.

While there are other antagonists, Keisuke's worst enemy is truly himself. He both overthinks and doesn't think things through. It's a bit of a double edged sword, because I think the way he thinks is very endearing, but I also see how much it has hurt him.

Yeah, F/Z did end on a somewhat good note for him.

The way he ends up in F/SN is far less than desirable, but at least there are fanworks and such to fill the void, I guess. I try to keep myself from getting too sad because there's really no point in dwelling on it. It's not like it would change anything.

>Like who are they

There are quite a handful of "evil" characters in the source material and they differ according to whether you're talking about the manga or the anime since their role and who they are are different in both.

In the anime Kushana is the main "villain", while she is more of an interested character rather than a pure bad person. She is looking for a way to save the world from the Fukaï even if this means using the worst ways. In the end she changes her mind and get on Nausicaä 's side.

In the manga, it's more complicated, since there are more of them. Kushana is the same character and she holds the same role at least at the start of the story. Then comes two of the worst foes my waifu will have ever met : the Miralupa of the Dorok Empire and Namulith. She meets the Miralupa first, who is a man with ambitions of power and control especially over the Torumekia Empire. He has psychic powers and will try to hunt Nausicaä down for a long while assaulting her mind before dying by the hand of his older brother, Namulith. While the first Miralupa had great ambitions over the world, It's nothing compared to Namulith who literally wants to destroy everything the human has worked for so far. He proves to be a way more dangerous opponent, strong both mentally and physically, he will even survive his head cut down and see the rise of the God-Warrior and the success of his plan. He is a sick and insane man and won't let anyone get into his way.

As for while those are the main evil true villains of the story, some others need to be mentioned given the fact they act as nice and helpful in the story but in fact reveals to be the most dangerous beings. There are two of them who easily comes to mind, the first one being the Master of the Garden ; He tries to get Nausicaä to stay forever into the garden who literally looks like a paradise on earth and from which anyone wouldn't want to run away for any reason. Purity, Happiness, knowledge are promised to those who want to stay forever here. It's of course a trap for Nausicaä since the Master of the Garden doesn't want her to access the crypt of Shuwa and reveals the terrible secrets the world suffers from. Nausicaä will eventually peacefully make him understand she has to leave with the help of Selm who will provide her a mental and psychic support during the "fight" opposing the two being. As about the Master of the Garden is a good and a very nice looking being, he is a very smart and calculative person, revealing to be a worthy foe for anyone.

Lastly, and surely who is to be the responsible somehow of earth's sufferance is the Master of the Crypt, a godlike entity left by the humans a millennia ago to accomplish their plans and make sure their return is safe. For he knows everything the ancient human being ever knew he is trying very hard to convince Nausicaä his, their plans for the planet are the one which will be able to save it definitely. Nausicaä understands everything and disagrees as she simply destroy the entity with the Vai Emperor and final Ohma's powers. While we are aware of this being only at the end of this story, I am actually suspicious he might have sent images and illusions of Death to Nausicaä all along her story, somehow fearing the danger and foreseeing it's own death.

There's many threats to Alistair throughout the Dragon Age series. I'm not counting the comics in this as I consider them half-canon.

Loghain Mac Tir. Alistair's father's most trusted and honored general and the one who helped Ferelden become free. In the beginning of the story, he's shown as a severe and serious person with Ferelden's survival through the Blight as his main priority, but almost as quickly as you meet him, he's betraying King Cailan, Alistair's half-brother, the Grey Wardens (more on this in a sec,) and all of Ferelden. He proposed a plan to have Cailan's main forces attack head on while Loghain's men waited for Alistair and the Warden to light the signal fire. When it was lit, instead of charging in from the rear and providing support to Cailan's men, he issued a full retreat and left the young king and about 80 percent of Ferelden's armed forces to the Darkspawn army. He betrayed the Grey Wardens after the fact, by blaming (whom he presumed all perished) the Wardens for the king's death and failure on the battlefield. Alistair and the Warden survive with the help of Flemeth, Morrigan's mother and quickly became noticed by Loghain. Give or take a few weeks and Loghain's poisoning Arl Eamon, Alistair's paternal uncle and inadvertently, allowing Alistair's cousin(?) Connor to become possessed. I'm assuming he knows of the Wardens' plans to go and get their treaties fulfilled, because Loghain sends a diplomatic party to Orzammar, which doesn't work. Later on in the story, Loghain sends an assassin, Zevran, to kill the Wardens, but he fails. Zevran instead joins the Warden and Alistair on their quests. Eventually, the Wardens hold a Lands Meet and Alistair confronts Loghain. Alistair swears his vengeance and he wastes no time in delivering the killing blow.

Darkspawn. No, not Barkspawn. That's Ali's dog. Darkspawn were created when man tried to reach the Golden City, and the Maker struck them down and cursed them with the blight. They live underground in hoards, breeding and attacking what's left of the Dwarven empire. The blood of a Darkspawn kills those who are too weak to fight its evil, yet empower those who become Grey Wardens. When there's no Blight, Darkspawn may come to the surface in small raiding bands with no real strength and direction. They need an Arch-demon.

The Arch-demon. Pretty much the main/final boss of the game, and not as prominent as Loghain, really. Legends say that the Arch-demon is an old God corrupted by the Darkspawn's taint, yet more often than not, is referred to as a dragon. Thus, Dragon Age. The Arch-demon is the main force connecting the Darkspawn army, controlling it and giving the army directions. The Wardens were created to deal with such blights because they are the only ones who can slay an Arch-demon, as there were four previously, and feel a deep connection to it. The Warden and Alistair, being the only two Ferelden Wardens left after Loghain's betrayal, they experience incredible nightmares and sensitivity to the Blight and can "understand" what the Arch-demon is saying. In order to avoid both Wardens dying, Alistair commits to a ritual with Morrigan that involves producing a child that "catches" the Arch-demon's soul.

 No.50690

>>50689

The Calling. Basically the end of Alistair's life– it's intense, reoccurring nightmares that signify a Warden's life is over. It's caused by the Taint via a ritual that involves Darkspawn blood. Wardens who are conscripted before a blight may live up to 30 years after the ritual, but those like the Warden and Alistair who are recruited so close to a blight may live up to 10. I count this as a threat to Alistair because in Inquisition, the Wardens are hearing the Calling at a much sooner, more intense rate that causes a lot of them to either ritualistically kill themselves or use blood magic in an attempt to end their suffering. Alistair is generally able to resist it for some reason, but I suspect it's the dragon aspect in his Theirin bloodline that eases his pain. He deals with this by going to the Inquisitor, from Hawke through Varric specifically, to help in any way he can.

Corypheus, more-or-less. Basically the guy that rips holes in the sky who used his magister-turned-Darkspawn powers to corrupt and amplify the Calling for the Wardens. Alistair is a Grey Warden who lives on Thedas, so of course it affects him, but it's not the first thing on his mind. The Wardens were corrupted sometime shortly before or shortly after the Inquisition was called in Alistair doesn't really join into the Inquisition until the Inquisitor helps him figure out what's wrong with them (and kick a few of their asses, too!) Alistair, Hawke, the Inquisitor & co. end up entering the Fade after a failed attempt to kill Corypheus and are escorted by the spirit of the Most Holy. They fight demons and it leads up to BioWare's super intense Alistair-or-Hawke sacrifice. Dumbasses sacrifice Alistair instead of Hawke, so I count this as a threat.

Last but not least, BioWare. BioWare likes to try to kill off my husband in an attempt to deepen the plot. In Origins, the ability to have Alistair "die" is available in two different events: the Loghain confrontation and killing the Arch-demon. In Inquisition, the Inquisitor gets to choose between Alistair and DA2's terrible protagonist Hawke in the Fade when a large demon attacks the group right before they leave the Fade. I'm really sick of using life or death choices for a plot device.
