Been thinking of a topic and one finally came to me.

It's good spring weather, slight breeze and a great day to be outside. You and your waifu decide on a picnic.

What food do you pack?

Where do you go?

Do you invite anyone to join you?

And what would you do, besides talking and enjoying the weather.

>What food do you pack?

I'm planning a large gathering actually, seven people or so. So a few sandwiches and maybe some cooked meat with rice. A packed salad might be good as well.

>Where do you go?

There's this isolated park about 10 minutes from here that doesn't see much traffic, has toilets and is close to the river as well. I think it would be perfect.

>Do you invite anyone to join you?

I think Florina would like to come along. I'd also like to invite Guy and Karla as well, seeing as both of them are fellow sword masters and from Sacae. I think a gathering like that would be good as we could teach each other a few things.

I'd also bring along Zoro and Tashigi from One Piece. I blame Warriors 3 for me actually starting to like the series.

>What would you do?

Lyn, Florina and I would probably catch up on old times and watch what the others were getting up to.
Guy would question Zoro as to how he never thought about using a third blade in his mouth before while Tashigi would get tips from Karla to eventually defeat Zoro.
Overall I think it could be a fun time, a fight or two but that would also be fun.

Just a little something under a shade tree around summer. Just the two of us since we're both introverted and Yuyuko can be a bit domineering in social situations so we'd be drowned out. I'm sure she'd understand.

I like to imagine us in a big field with some shade trees around to set up under. Then we'd probably have some form of sub or noodles. Not sure really. After we're done we'd just laze around, maybe take a nap. It can be refreshing to nap outside every once in a while.

I don't think we'd do much other than that. Much of it would probably be sitting there and not talking a whole lot but just enjoying eachothers company. There's something nice about it in a way I can't really explain.

>What food do you pack?

Sandwiches, veggie rolls, wine, and beer.

>Where do you go?

A hilltop with a view across the city. Oh, It is so pretty from way up there.

>Do you invite anyone to join you?

Fuck no.

>What would you do?

Enjoy our food and drink catching up with a laugh and then cuddle together watching the sun go down over the city.

How'd you know I already wanted to do something like this

>What food do you pack?

Assorted sandwiches and muffins, and water or ice tea or something along those lines. I don't know what he'd eat but of course I'd bring stuff that he likes too.

>Where do you go?

A secluded field with lots of flowers

>Do you invite anyone to join you?

No. I guess I wouldn't mind close friends tagging along though

>And what would you do, besides talking and enjoying the weather.

I'm not sure but I kinda want him to pick some flowers for me

>What food do you pack?

Something simple, like sandwiches. No need to get fancy.

>Where do you go?

Somewhere outside Yokohama.

>Do you invite anyone to join you?

Not a chance.

>What would you do?

cuddle

I'd make us bento or maybe one big communal bento so I can take all the weenies. There's a nice park less than two miles down the road that we can easily walk to that has a lot of shade and flatter areas for putting down a blanket to eat on. Or maybe we can go to one of those parks with the public grills and cook some things there, like grilled stuffed squid. It'd be just the two of us and we could cuddle a bit/take a nap, do some reading, or look at cloud shapes together. There's a large park that's quite a drive that has some amenities like a tiny train ride through the property, so I'd like to squeeze on the only backwards seat at the very end of the train with him and go for a ride. There's also an ice cream parlor at the park so I know he'd get way too excited about that.

>What food do you pack?

The mandatory sandwiches, muffins, and other little cakes. And some juice and tea of course.

>Where do you go?

Anywhere nice without any people but lots of rabbits.

>Do you invite anyone to join you?

We'd bring Chino along and have a family picnic. I think picnics are more about having fun than romantic.

>And what would you do, besides talking and enjoying the weather.

Chino would play with the bunnies and flowers while me and Aya would cuddle under a tree. And later we'd have some quality family time all together.

Somewhere near the edge of a forest would be really nice, with plenty of both sun and shade available.

I kind of wish that it'd just be the two of us so that showing her my affection would be easier, but I wouldn't feel bothered by the company of others either. Just seeing her happy would be enough.

Concerning food… juice, sandwiches, olives for myself and cake for her! I'd probably end up bringing a whole lot of different things to suit her whims.

And on a perhaps somewhat darker note,

since Koishi's a youkai, and a particularly fickle sort, making sure that she'll be satisfied could be a matter of life and death. Asking her out on a picnic without bringing "youkai food" along could turn out to be a dreadful mistake.

Reading some books or playing some games with her would be lovely. Somehow I feel that she'd like Alice's adventures in wonderland?

>What food do you pack?

Sandwiches, some fruit and veggies, cake for me and the girls, something spicy for Kirei, and juice and water to drink.

>Where do you go?

There's a really nice park a bit of a drive away from where I live. It has a playground, swings, outdoorsy scenery, and plenty of shade so it would be perfect. It also has a pretty lake.

>Do you invite anyone to join you?

We'd take Dejiko and Mayoi with us! Family picnic time.

>What would you do?

Play for awhile, eat, and then go exploring. Knowing this family someone would probably get pushed into the lake and it would most likely be me.

>What food do you pack?

The real cliche stuff like sandwiches and pie. And some Sunny D for drinks

>Where do you go?

A park by the lake would be nice. Hearing the soft crashing of the waves and the breeze flowing in. Picture perfect location for one with her. It would be amazing to watch her eat a sandwich with the wind blowing her hair and her looking at me do the same.

>Do you invite anyone to join you?

No. At least not the first time. The first picnic together is reserved for just me and her to indulge in the moment together.

>And what would you do, besides talking and enjoying the weather.

After we ate cuddle and talk some more and watch the sunset. Pack up once the sun is gone and go home to watch a movie together and cuddle under the sheets.

>What food do you pack?

Soup, hot chocolate, some cans of soda and some bottles of water. A package of cheese for Charlotte and some candy bars for Pumpking. Salad, Sandwiches, and some chips for the rest of us.

>Where do you go?

A nice quiet place in a big city park, ideally under a nice big shady tree.

>Do you invite anyone to join you?

Our kids of course!

>What would you do?

Watch after the kids as they play, eat together of course, read together as the kids play together and maybe take a nice nap in the sun. I'd like to spend the whole day there from lunch to dinner so we could all look at the stars afterwards.

There is small mountain around where my grandparents live and the view is gorgeous.

Nope

Talk and just enjoy the view. No need to do anything big.

Is it wrong that I would prefer going to a restaurant over a picnic?

Picnics just give me weird inexplicable feelings. I mean, I'd do it if she insisted, but there are only a handful of places to go and I always have trouble relaxing in a public place. We could still go out with her friends to a place to eat and maybe a few people from here. At the restaurant, there might be sports or news on tv to discuss or, most likely, I'd sit and listen while they caught up, contributing little to the conversation.
