When the art style changed in the manga, and changed again, most of the fanbase screamed bloody murder and said it wasn't the same character. To me what matters is the motion and behaviour. They can cry all they want that the current Tsuzuki doesn't have a pointy nose or a long chin, but his mannerisms are all there, and always meant more than any wonkiness. A Tsuzuki climbing on a giant pie slice is a Tsuzuki.
To be honest I was worried about the Kaito I drew too, I kept redoing the hair like it wasn't right, and thinking I'd samefaced it like fuck. But I bought Kaito's figma because the smile reminded me of Tsuzuki, so maybe that's a predestined rut.
