I'm actually like pretty open about my relationship to most people who are close to me. Basically anyone who I would consider a friend knows about Patchouli. Also my family. Most other people, it would be way too much of a hassle to try and explain it. Keeping stuff like that a secret from people who I'm close to is just way too much of a hassle. Plus, all of my friends are actually supportive anyways, so there's no reason to keep it a secret.

Start talking about something I'm really into that they aren't. Just here instead of "Something I'm really into." I go deep into how I feel about love and relationships. At which point they either think I'm nuts or understand and don't bother me about it.

I've always seen It's Complicated as either what >>52012 said or as "In a Relationship/Married but my significant other doesn't check my social media and I openly want to fuck around".

As for In A Relationship/Married, I do not know anyone IRL that understands this kind of relationship, and I feel that this would only cause drama, even if this is what accurately describes my relationship status.

If that's the case I've always checked "widowed".
