Well, nobody wants to hear this but for the first ten or so years trans aren't going to get the hormone treatments and shit they need. It's just not a priority for any meaningful revolution. It's one thing to try and respect their identity, it's another to just throw out a legitimate economic module and appeal to people's fantasies. The fact is if the resources are not able to develop it, too bad for them. Trans-activism is wholly a first-world privilege because we can live with such comforts of "exploring our gender identity". Do you see third-world trans? No... you see third-world male prostitutes who look like really fuckable dudes to make some money.

It's basically just people can be who they want to be, fuck who they want to fuck, there's no pressure to adhere to gender normatives or form a hetero-centric family structure. But this is not acheived by waving a magic wand, in time material conditions will soften for all and all can enjoy the benefits of a liberal individualism to some degree. But as it stands now an estrogen pill in one tran's mouth takes the food right out of a starving African kid's mouth.

sorry for the off-topic question, but from a marxist perspective, what would drive a fully conscious person to breed? If every person had a strong enough consciousness to realize that they were driven to breeding by biological impulses and not reason would they have incentive to breed at all? What would even be the point of the continuation of the human race?

Would it be egotistical to have children for the sake of having children?

thanks for the answers in advance. I am not a nihilist myself, just heard this argument before. I am not well read enough to have a good answer to it, I simply think that there is no reason to make a concentrated effort to kill off the human race, and it would be even more redundant for a nihilist to make such an effort.

An on topic question: On what basis does Trotsky, or any other reformist for that matter, claim that Stalin is a revisionist? And by what claim does Trotsky hold to the seat of the soviet union? Trots always say how Stalin cheated him out of his position but I find very little evidence of this and most evidence points to most of the party being very hostile towards him.

Well Marxism itself is based on the view that mankind is able to shape its own destiny under conditions of socialism and communism. Bit difficult for that to happen when the next generation won't exist.

They claim that to believe it is possible to achieve socialism in one or a bunch of countries (rather than as a worldwide phenomenon) is a "nationalist deviation." That's basically the central point. It's what allows them to label everyone from Stalin himself to Mao, Tito, Khrushchev, Gorbachev, Castro, Deng, etc., etc. as "Stalinists."

There were various parties which were officially recognized by the Party of Labour of Albania, the most notable probably being the CPC-ML in Canada, PCdoB in Brazil, and KPD/ML in West Germany. The 8th Congress of the PLA in 1981 had delegations from over 20 parties.

Their activities were covered in the Albanian press, occasional articles in their journals and newspapers were reprinted in said press, they attended important Albanian congresses and conferences, etc.

As for the comparison between how China treated fraternal parties and how Albania treated them, Geng Biao said to the Albanians in 1973 that: "China does not approve the creation of Marxist-Leninist parties and does not want the representatives of these parties to come to China. Their coming is a nuisance to us but we can do nothing about them, for we cannot send them away. We accept them just as we accept the representatives of bourgeois parties."

I have talked to someone who was a member of the KPD/ML. He says that the Albanians provided the party with Albanian materials, but did not send them money and encouraged them to be self-sufficient in both ideological and financial matters rather than rely on direction and subsidies from abroad.

Yes, that was connected to the Communist Party of Canada (Marxist-Leninist), it was originally called the Norman Bethune Institute and later renamed to the Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin Institute.

The CPC-ML doesn't identify with Hoxha's writings anymore. Since the mid-90s it has been close to Cuba and (without actually endorsing Juche) the DPRK.

There have been many student radicals from the 1960s and 70s who have transformed into bourgeois politicians and academics. As far as French Jews go, Cohn-Bendit went from being an ultra-leftist who ranted against "Stalinism" to being a social-democrat (while, of course, still perfectly willing to rant against "Stalinism" if he ever has to do so.)

I don't think being a Jew has much to do with becoming a neo-con. If I had to guess why a bunch of Jews went from "left" to neo-con right, belief in a common Jewish identity and establishing a tie between that identity and the continued existence of the State of Israel probably accounts for the move into a specifically neo-conservative position, helped along by the fact that Jews are less likely to be socially conservative in the "WASP" sense and thus less interested in paleoconservative types.

Marx's pamphlet was written as a polemic against Bruno Bauer, an anti-Semite. Marx discussed the situation Jews were driven into by European society through centuries of persecution and restrictions on what occupations they were allowed to engage in. He noted that with the abolition of capitalism the Jew would be liberated from Judaism and from that peculiar status as a "huckster" and other negative roles anti-Semitism shoehorned them into.

I think that the Western powers are the cause of the crisis and are hypocritically trying to deflect blame for it. If the argument boils down to that, then I would simply say that in a class society "mutual contracts" between different classes cannot be equal. If a worker "contracts" himself to a capitalist he is not only doing so because the alternative is destitution or worse, but is also going to be exploited simply because of how capitalism works: the appropriation of surplus-value by the capitalist.
