Comrades, I was thinking.
So Dialectical Materialism, is a way to reconcile a contradiction. if we have system wich consist of A and B and there is and inherent contradiction between the two there will be a swap to a system with less contradiction.
So Stalin was a marxist, and he knew that shit. What if one day he was sitting st his table, pipe and all. and he realized(found a shortcut). Why I dont just take out B and have only A, no contradiction! Then he called Beria….
tl;dr
dialectial materialism killed communism of 20th century

>>1415Well that's the point of the purges, to resolve the condradiction between the classes by destroying the bourgeoisie and their agents.
Actually failure to do this led to and was a hallmark of Khrushchevite revisionism. Khrushchev said that we could peacefully resolve the contradictions by class collaboration and acheive socialism. So actually failure to adhere to dialectics resulted in the destruction of 20th century communism.

OP, that's a caricature of dialectics. At no point did Lenin or Stalin argue that "if we kill everyone we'll get rid of a thesis and let the other thesis be dominant," that's… literally not dialectics.
Also I don't see what "shortcut" Stalin could have been looking for in the Great Purges anyway (which, BTW, Beria was appointed to oversee their ending.)
