As far as I can tell, besides the whole "ALIENS WILL BRING US COMMUNISM" thing, Posadas was basically the same ideologically as Pablo: the "Stalinist bureaucracies" were going to be the norm for centuries and the triumph of workers' states across the world ("deformed" by "Stalinism" or not) was the quickest way of defeating "Stalinism," so it was a good idea to work with "Stalinists" and bourgeois-nationalist groups. This is why there were "Pabloites" or "Posadists" fighting as guerrillas in Cuba against Batista, Algeria against the French, Nicaragua against the Sandinistas, etc.
So it's lame, but lame in a different way from the usual Trotskyism.
