As people here know, I scan books. You can find the books myself and others have scanned here: https://archive.org/search.php?query=uploader%3A%22kocotosi%40gmail.com%22&sort=-publicdate
There are plenty of books put out by the USSR, China and other countries, or just old books in general, that can be obtained either cheaply via online sellers or libraries. These can then be put online alongside the books you see there.
If /marx/ can contribute to the left in some way, I think this can be a fine way to do so. There are two ways in which to do this:
1. Buy a book online or go to a nearby library and obtain a book, then scan it and send it my way so I can put it online.
2. Buy a book online and ship it to my address, whereupon I will duly scan it.
Be sure to mention any books beforehand so I can tell you if they're able to be scanned and publicly put online or not. As should be obvious, these are books that we would either have permission to scan or would face no repercussions to doing so (such as the aforementioned Soviet books.)
To get into contact with me sign up on the forum mentioned in the stickied thread on top and just send me a PM there (my username there is the same as on here.) If you want to buy a book for me to scan, PM me there and I'll direct you to a bunch of cheap books ($5 or less) you could choose from.
In the meantime I am going to use this thread to announce books I intend to scan.
