Alright guys, I am this guy here >>2147
I live in San Marcos and would be down to meet up. You can email me at aquilaglobumancora@gmail.com
I would like to create a Central Texas group that we can use to be politically active around Austin and maybe even San Antonio if something big is happening. I'm not talking about marching in the streets sieg heiling or anything. Just forming a group that clearly outlines what we stand for and shows up to the capitol as a group with a casual but professional uniform every time the state legislature makes a ruling that news networks feel the need to report on. That way if we ever get interviewed we can have a PR guy in the group that's good with public speaking and is knowledgeable about the subject and can explain why whatever the legislature is voting on is good or bad and that's why we're here supporting or condemning it.
Also should be down for barbecues/poker/group visits to gun ranges to put some holes in some paper.
This goes for any other central Texan that finds their way into this thread. Houston, San Antonio, and DFW areas are huge as well, y'all should email me too to let me know if y'all are successful getting groups together there so we can communicate.
I'm learning how to put together websites and my goal is if we get a large enough group formed and attract members we can have our own website that will bring in even more members and support.
Hope to hear from you guys.

Why don't all of us Texans pick a central location that's minimizes travel difficulties, and meet up there for some activity that would appeal to most of us? For instance I wouldn't mind driving a few hours to a range shoot guns with you guys (and that way if nobody shows up, I still haven't went to all that effort for nothing).
I volunteer to do the math and optimize travel distance, but I'd need to know the rough location (at least which city) of everyone to do it. inb4 hi fbi
516571 No.3651
>>3650
Maybe we should just divide it into South Texas and North Texas. Maybe pick somewhere around San Antonio and somewhere around the DFW; the state is a bit too big to have just one location.
d5ee2b No.3652
>>3651
Actually I have a better idea:
1. Come up with several possible locations, eg. 5.
2. Make spreadsheet.
3. Everyone puts in their travel time to each one.
4. We decide the location with smallest average travel for everyone.
Technically, one could triangulate your location with bird's flight distance to at least 3 spots. But since roads are windy, and shortest route is not always fastest, that gives the tinfoils some plausible deniability. You can also randomly add say +/- 30 minutes to your times to really mask where you are. (t. a tinfoil)
Major cities in Texas are:
>Houston
>San Antonio
>Dallas
>Austin
>Fort Worth
Also, most conservative cities in Texas according to Voting Research:
>Lubbock
>Abilene
>Plano
>Arlington
>Garland
Though honestly it doesn't seem like such an extreme skew - Garland at 59% is already close to the national averages, and even Lubbock at 75% isn't too impressive.
516571 No.3653
>>3652
I don't know if there's enough people in this thread to justify a spreadsheet and all that. But I'm in H-E-B anyway. Maybe we should brainstorm the kind of places we could meet. Someone already mentioned a gun range as a possible location, I'd add a public park to that as well.
6a9830 No.3666
Ok, I made a temporary excel so that way any other information can be added to it such as way point where we can all meet and compare the miles to see which place has the least commute time.
Another thing is the post date as well because I think some anons just dumped and bumped, so to keep things relevant look for the dates that are at least within 6 months.

Yeah that's also important, but I think what is more important is actually meeting up. I read over a few of the threads on /mead/ but haven't noticed anyone actually meeting up for sure. If a few Texans actually met up in person then it would be a significant breakthrough.

Of course I am also willing to meet up somewhere in between Corpus Christi and these areas, e.g. Victoria.
In any case, people should meet up, even if it's just between two persons. That should get the ball rolling.

d5ee2b No.3843
Alright faggots, I've actually went through the whole thread and recorded every single location mentioned. Here is the data if you want it (tab delimited, paste to excel, expires in 1 month): http://pastebin.com/4gbm4sVn
If you want to edit the table, you can edit and repost on pastebin (don't forget an expiration date)
I made a map based on this showing where everyone is. Some observations:
1. There are apparently 4 of you in Lubbock. Get in touch with each other!
2. Dallas: There are 8 of you in DFW alone. 4 more are in Denton, a <1 hour drive and <2 hour train ride away. You should be able to work something out.
3. Austin has 4 people, including me. New Braunfels, 1 hour drive away, has another 4.
4. Houston has 6 anons. This is another good cluster.
5. Corpus Christi has 2 anons. McAllen and Harlingen will have to either meet halfway or join up with Corpus Christi - so probably an overnight trip.
6. Scattered anons: Killeen and Waco should choose between Dallas and Austin. Palestinem, Tyler and Paris are probably best off with Dallas. Beaumont is closest to Houston.
—–
Base on this, I suggest to form several groups (shown on the map):
>NW Texas (Lubbock) - Pop. 4
>DFW - Pop. 16
>Houston area - Pop. 8
>Central (Austin-San Antonio) - Pop. 9
>South (Corpus Christi and everything below) - Pop. 4
You are welcome to adjust my group boundaries, just edit the map and repost.
Every group should coordinate within its own area as a first step, since coordinating over larger areas will be impractical. As a rule of thumb, people within a group should be close enough that they can travel to a meeting place and back within one day (flights don't count). Once the group structure is in place, each group can appoint delegates (or not, if practical) and collaborate on organizing a multi-group event. The endgame would be a joint effort that culminates in a glorious cross-Texas meetup of all /pol/acks - though it remains to be seen if that can be accomplished.
Each group should coordinate in its own thread, since most internal communications will not be of much interest to anyone else. However, for no we should keep everything in this thread - I don't even know if everyone will agree with my subdivisions/plan, and we should keep the thread as active as possible to avoid newcomers thinking we're dead and moving on without posting anything.
—–
At this point, I will assume temporary leadership of the Central group (I'm in Austin). If anyone from CT objects, you are welcome to suggest an alternative leader or propose a method for appointing a leader. You can reach me at: amadcock@cock.li
Here are my plans:
>Austin anons meet, establish more reliable contact methods
>New Braunfels/San Marcos anons meet, establish more reliable contact methods
>The Austin and NB/SM groups link up, figure out a meeting place (1 hour drive either way) and discuss further plans in person
If either Austin or NB/SM fails to get anywhere, the other team will carry on without. If neither team gets anywhere… Well, too bad.
For Austin, I will wait for at least one person to post in this thread (I check it regularly) or email me. I will then post a protocol for meeting and identifying each other (don't worry, I'll add some plausible deniability so you can pussy out at the last moment). I will post it here, regardless of how they make themselves known. We will get a drink, figure out how to communicate, and move from there.
For NB/SM, I can only assist remotely since I have no definite plans to be over there. I suggest you coordinate among each other similar to how I did, but if you'd like to just attend Austin events you are welcome to. If you need help organizing I'm more than happy to provide protocols, advice, etc.
If anyone is visiting Austin or passing through - let me know. We might be able to arrange something. Post vague travel plans ("sometime in the first two weeks of december") to avoid identifying yourself.
Let's do this, guys!

Had our first real life meeting. It went well. We will be meeting more and hope others will join us.
>long version
Emailed Woodlands-bro (>>3883) and met up with him a few hours ago. The meeting went really well. We discussed alot of things and finally got around to getting this thing organized. Don't worry though, because right now things are pretty loose and informal, which means we are wanting to hear from more of y'all. Yes, that means in person.
Both of us are willing to meet up with more people in the state. That includes one or both of us traveling to you, you traveling to one or both of us, or meeting up somewhere in between.
We figure that since many of us live all over the state, that many of us will have to do some traveling in order to take this thing to the next level. That's just the situation that we are currently stuck with.
So basically anyone from the DFW area, all the way down to the Rio Grande Valley, are open for us to meet with.
That said, I still encourage y'all to meet up with each other if possible. I know meeting people from imageboards has a sketchy feeling to it. I know, because I've done it a few times myself. Each time though I have had a positive outcome. So while I can understand the reluctance that people have, if you are wanting to see change, then you have to put yourself out there and meet people to help enact this change.
For those who are still reluctant, we can set up a future meeting in your area and anyone who wants to come can come. This will let you scope us out from a distance and judge for yourself if you want to take it any further. In our meeting, we discussed how this seems to work for some people, including our Dutch brethren (>>3505), and for meetups on 4chan. Right now we are looking at meeting up more privately as opposed to publicly posting our meetings. If we absolutely have to though, we can always go with the more public route. Let us know what works for you. You can do that either in this thread, or email Woodlands-bro (literallywho00@gmail.com) or myself (check this posts email field).
Let's build this thing together. Let's get some shit done, you know….before it's too late.

This^ San Marcos anon here.
I'm down for a meetup. I think San Marcos is actually a great meeting place for the entire Austin-San Antonio corridor.
Centrally located, so Austin and SA anons have about the same amount of drive time. (Also New Braunfels anons and other side cities are closer geographically than an Austin or SA point.)
Smaller and less busy, so logistics are easy for meeting up. Lots of pubs (for the beerhall putsch meme), but I also enjoy pubs, so there's that. Fuck "muh degeneracy", pubs are great to meet in, get a little lit and talk some treason.
I'm down to drive and meet anons, but honestly, I'd rather do it here, because while I am fully capable of Austin or SA operations, I really think that SM is a great point for the braintrust or main effort of the Austin-SA scene. Then we develop Austin battalions and SA battalions, etc.
I do need to set up a burner email tho. I'm honestly 1963 on technology. I fucking hate computers and smartphones and social media, but I guess that's the future. Once I get one going, I'm down to hold a meetup. What are the best throwaways?

Reporting in, and I'm in contact with the anon in Austin who made the map and reporting details.
Saturday, December 5, let's meet in San Marcos at the Quail Creek Country Club's bar and restaurant (it's open to the public).
This can be for anyone interested in the I-35 corridor from San Antonio to Austin. However, it's not limited to those areas. The guys from College Station, the gentleman from Corpus, and anyone else is willing to come.
The problem of Texas is how long travel time can be, so I'd like to make it worth your while. Once we meet in the restaurant and spend a while together hashing things out, perhaps we can go float the nearby San Marcos river and continue to spend time together there.

All right everyone, I'm the same poster who mentioned San Marcos. Are you guys in? How will noon work for you all? Again, this is a wide invite for folks from Austin, College Station, San Antonio, Corpus, wherever.
I made it short notice so I understand if it's not feasible. If we don't do it this weekend I won't be able to attend one until next year since I'll be heading to Australia for a few weeks.
We won't do a river float, but we'll improvise and find something fun to do, there are some walking trails nearby we can use, or even something like bowling. At the suggestion of our Dutch friends, we'll have one person be easily identifiable (me) so that way if people assess the situation and decide to back out at the last second, they'll be able to. Also, we don't have to do it at the country club, a Denny's would work just fine and they tend to not give you the stink eye for hanging around excessively.
I'll be wearing a black polo shirt, off-white dress slacks, brown shoes, and will be holding a red and yellow traffic vest in my hand.
No pressure though if we want to reschedule so people don't feel like they've wasted their time, but even a small group would be just fine. Email me at waltbennett.anglogroup@gmail.com or message me on Skype at waltbennett2007.

How about >>4001? Are you in?
We can just meet at the country club and then migrate from there. I honestly don't know San Marcos at all, I only went there once to float the river.

Aw shoot, I can't do it on saturday noon. Any chance of doing one Sunday? The logistics are a bit easier for me.
Also, if anyone will be in Austin tomorrow - I'll be at Red's Range (the one at Oak Hill) around 10-11 am. I'll be wearing exactly one piece of camo clothing.

Any Volk going to the UT walk, watch or carry
We must work to end Gun Free Zones in Texas so Saturday Dec 12th we will gather at 11:30am at 2426 San Antonio St, Austin Texas for an open carry walk with our rifles and legal black powder pistols. At noon we will walk down Guadalupe St next to the UT campus. Ending the walk back at the meet up point, San Antonio Parking Garage. After putting up our guns we will return to the UT campus to put on a theatrical performance starting at 2:30pm. This will be an epic event. See you all there!

I dunno. You'd be surprised. Some people get redpilled later than others. Some are in an area that is geographically tough to meet people, or like-minded people in the case of a city or "blue spot" in an otherwise "red" area. Or they could just be a straight fucking autist and drop spaghetti everywhere they go, leading to social alienation.
In my case, I'm not a socially-awkward autist, but instead, I'm in a place that does not lend itself to meeting or cultivating relationships with racially-aware Whites, fascists, national socialists, or even paleocons.
I'm one of the San Marcos anons, if my ID didn't give it away. To paraphrase the film Clerks: "This place would be great if it wasn't for the fucking people."

Not particularly, but the generation gap with most right wing old geezers is usually too much. Obviously it doesn't apply to you if you are posting here.
Were any of you actually at the protest? I was a bit disappointed. More media than protesters (there were maybe 5 people with rifles) and not many redpill-tier signs. A few of the quiet, inconspicuous people seemed okay, especially the old asian guy (I'm guessing an immigrant from his accent) who told me he came because he believed in the second amendment was inspiring.
I wish they had organized enough people to walk in a tight formation and push the counter protesters out, maybe get a drummer/flutist in the middle to play some marches to keep pace. Would have looked much more impressive.
