So I don't know if this has been discussed yet or not but the question I got for all you'se is why the lack of mince and cheese pies in australia. Over in superior rugby nation New Zealand mince and cheese are the most popular pies by a long shot. And once (regrettably) I traveled to australia and was walking down elizabeth street in sydney around the middle of the afternoon thinking to myself I needed a snack having just arrived in the inferior rugby playing nation that day and I saw a pie shop called pie face. So I thought to myself fucking brilliant, I'll just grab me a mince and cheese pie. So I went in looked at the pies, got a little confused, asked the guy behind the counter 'got any mince and cheese', then he got confused. He said that they didn't do mince and cheese pies, I was all like, U wot m8. Then he said the only thing like that would be a mince and chutney pie, and then I was all like, you have got to be fucking kidding me, what sort of an excuse for a pie would you call a pie with chutney in it. Needless to say I left the shop after that seething with absolute palpable rage and disgust at not being able to buy a mince and cheese pie. I think I went around the corner to KFC after that and got a snack wrap. Which are pretty good I got to say.
