/meatpie/ - Meat Pie

It's an eggy pie that might have some meat in it, but it's not the sort of thing that'd be too popular round here.

I wonder how you could butch up an eggy pie. Maybe make it with nice big chunks of beef, kangaroo or horse meat, stewed with a nice, earthy mix of curry and turmeric. Had some curried zebra a while back, it was well pukka. Perhaps a touch of Marmite or Vegemite in the eggy mix for spice. The pastry's a bit poncy, too, maybe replace it with flaky pastry, done with the grated butter method because what kind of a man wants to faff about with rolling and rerolling.
