A couple comments, the battle grid is really squished due to the extra bars on the size, making the sprites look too big for the grid. Also you forgot the shading on the far rows, in the original games the further rows had some shading to imply depth.

I just got the ds version of BN5 and I really like the party battle system, specifically using team attacks when you switch out with full synchro on. I wish they did more shit like that and allowed you to use full synch in different ways, even if it's just some added effect to some chips.
