Sucks to be you. Modern society has already digested and implemented his fundamental discoveries, all that is left are his mistakes.

For better or worse, psychoanalysis has managed to impact our language. Words like "ego", "repression", "regression", "unconscious" are part of every-day language.

Neuroscience can now prove, and have proven some of Freud's hypotheses regarding the human mind. The unconscious mind is now a psychological, cognitive, and neurological fact. That we are not the masters of our own mind, but are rather highly influenced by drives and other motivations is essential to psychoanalysis.

Admittedly, Freud was wrong in some domains of study, and his dogmatic insistence regarding his theory of sexuality in human beings is something to criticize, among other things. I am more Jungian inclined, but to entirely dismiss Freud is a mistake.
