Real, accurate IQ tests take a long time and have multiple parts to them. There are, I think, 4 major tests, all comprised of smaller parts. I had to take one of them to test my cognitive skills once, and it's way more complex than just pattern recognition. Plus, only psychiatrists/psychologists can apply them, and even then I

I found the results a WAIS-IV test I had done. It's actually really reassuring to read.
My FSIQ is dead average, but my GAI is slightly above average. GAI excludes processing speed. My processing speed is consistently below average. Specifically, my matrix reasoning is way above average.
So I'm a little "smart" but slow. Makes perfect sense. Also reads that I need help improving my self-esteem…

I almost always feel confident that I did well excluding on maybe one or two math questions because I have a hard time with them, but I barely get above 100, no matter what IQ test it seems to be. 126, pretty consistent with the last IQ test I took online where I had 127, in the other it did say that real IQ may differ up to 10 points, and I once took a professional IQ test with the result of 117, I was awake for 24 hours the day I took the test though, so probably somewhere between 117 and 127 is my real IQ. I would like to work, believe me. I hate being a leeching slob but, unfortunately, 90% of the jobs out there simply seem impossible for someone in my position. They all require one or more of these:
High school diploma
Good/friendly communication skills
Previous experience
Training

And any that don't require that either don't even pay enough for the gas to and from the job site(I live quite a good way from any town, practically innawoods), or they require me to be all up cramped around and interacting with other people in person/over voice which…I thoroughly hate. Typing is fine, oddly enough.
So unless my stories end up becoming a bestseller(whenever I work all the kinks out) or some rich person really enjoys my cartoon sci-fi fantasy art, I am forever on a government check.
Oh and as for doubling down, I have been doing that. Focusing on adding higher detail and different perspectives to my drawings. Unfortunately, I am a paper peasant and must resort to using a cheap-o webcam to upload them which makes them look really crappy.
