Real, accurate IQ tests take a long time and have multiple parts to them. There are, I think, 4 major tests, all comprised of smaller parts. I had to take one of them to test my cognitive skills once, and it's way more complex than just pattern recognition. Plus, only psychiatrists/psychologists can apply them, and even then I
think they have to be certified.

I'm not so sure that IQ testing means that much. Plenty of these "high-IQ" people that were in my classes ended up being excellent in school, but terrible with money, easily lied to, swallowed mainstream media lies like nothing, were still complete consumerists, etc. Don't get me started on the people enticed by their "special snowflake" status and are dumb enough to pay into Mensa to boost their egos. Either /mental/ is a board of superior intellectuals or something ain't right. >Background: The general population has long been interested with IQ and popular belief has suggested that mental illness status may be associated with higher IQ. >Aims: To determine whether mental illness status confers a greater IQ than general population. >Method: Conduct online testing of IQ (super accurate) in mixed cohort presumably all afflicted by mental illness (n=28). Control arm includes general population (n=7billion) which includes mentally ill people who make up a minority of the population. >Results: average IQ is 136 in experimental arm, 100 in the control arm (by definition) >Conlusion: Mental illness confers high IQ or those with greater IQs have a greater propensity toward developing mental illness. >Two options >Kill all intelligent people>Homo sapiens becomes species of happy fools living in utopia >Kill all normies>Live in dystopian society of master race genius mentalists (think Plato's philosopher kings but we're all batshit crazy)

126, pretty consistent with the last IQ test I took online where I had 127, in the other it did say that real IQ may differ up to 10 points, and I once took a professional IQ test with the result of 117, I was awake for 24 hours the day I took the test though, so probably somewhere between 117 and 127 is my real IQ. If I knew more about math could be higher even, I'm a high school dropout after all. Part of the reason everytime there's an IQ test thread anywhere and you only see high IQs is that dumb people are afraid of finding out they're retarded and mostly only people that know they're smart take the tests to find out just how smart they are. That and the tests are a little inaccurate, even for IQ test standards, and there are many different kinds of intelligences.

I would like to work, believe me. I hate being a leeching slob but, unfortunately, 90% of the jobs out there simply seem impossible for someone in my position. They all require one or more of these:
High school diploma
Good/friendly communication skills
Previous experience
Training
Degree in <x>
And any that don't require that either don't even pay enough for the gas to and from the job site(I live quite a good way from any town, practically innawoods), or they require me to be all up cramped around and interacting with other people in person/over voice which…I thoroughly hate. Typing is fine, oddly enough.
So unless my stories end up becoming a bestseller(whenever I work all the kinks out) or some rich person really enjoys my cartoon sci-fi fantasy art, I am forever on a government check.
Oh and as for doubling down, I have been doing that. Focusing on adding higher detail and different perspectives to my drawings. Unfortunately, I am a paper peasant and must resort to using a cheap-o webcam to upload them which makes them look really crappy.
