Haven't heard of Tox actually, I'd love to start using it by my friends don't care about having their privacy invaded so they'll never switch :/

Tox has a problem with memorizing groupchats. As soon as you close the Tox client the groupchats are forgotten. Therefore we use skype instead. IRC is unfortunately dead.

I found a code edit for Tox that maintain groupchats into an hexadecimal key like IDs made by ukrainian rebels (apparently) but i suck too much with computers to compile it and make a binary. Find the skype group thread if you wish to talk. should be around here somewhere…
