So, tonight is pretty much the first night I've started hearing things. I feel like someone is watching me. I feel nervous as hell. I have no idea what's going on, but it feels similar to an anxiety attack, yet different.

What do

 No.2598

Sleep deprivation can do this, it did for me. Take it easy, lie down, cover up. Maybe have a cup of cocoa. If you feel really scared, call someone. A hotline for mental health is suitable, they're there for exactly this reason. If you can, get some sleep.

This is clearly a mental health issue so I'm not sure what /x/ would do besides telling OP it's an alien.

Hallucinations and paranoid delusions, rather audio or visual are a psychotic symptom. If you're not on any drugs, especially hard stimulants like meth or hallucinogens like shrooms or LSD, and the hallucinations persist or you develop any other symptoms, speak to a psychiatrist. You may be developing schizophrenia or a schizoaffective disorder. This is important because psychosis isn't something you can just kinda tough out and ignore. If it gets worse you could end up losing all perspective on what is real. Antipsychotics can usually help manage the worst of it, though be prepared for side effects, they regrettably have some unpleasant ones. But it's probably better than turning into tin foil hat man huddling in the corner scared for his life because the government is attacking his mind with gremlins.

Not every board is /b/ here. Youre the reason 4chan cant have nice things. Like redtext and the ability to upload multiple images at once.

Oh god I didn't tell them to bring it up with their psychiatrist did I? I took that for granted. I was more about "what you need to do right now".

Also, if you ARE on hard stimulants or psychedelics, stop. Stimulant psychosis and psychedelic use can trigger schizophrenia in people that are predisposed to it. Some believe stimulants can even just essentially break the way dopamine works in your brain to the point that it actually causes schizophrenia.

Oh, sorry. I'm just used to jokes having a punchline and being funny. You added a unique spin to the concept though.

It was funny to me :^)
Does it really matter that no one laughs if the joke makes me feel good?

But ths discussion won't lead nowhere, so i'll stop now.

You seem nervous, that's cute.
Don't worry, i just found out that you're a nice person.
Better than me at least.
