AFAIK, she wasn't the one who came up witht he idea of open relationship, it was him, after discovering she was cheating on him with close friends. So he came up with the idea of open relationship, as a way to both pretend he wasn't a beta cucked cheated dude in a failed marriage, and also to pose as progressive open minded hobosexual, to whom he usually panders to. It backfired since he didn't manage to get any chick to fuck him, then he came up with another briliant idea of claiming he was bi to see if he could at least get a dude to fuck him, bu freaked out when chances appeared, then his cheating wife divorced him, taking some stuff with her. /v/ likes to pick on him because he used to post there.
