To fix the sinc i created a silenced amount of time on the audio track, or either cut the silence that was already there by a certain amount with Audacity, so it'd start when i wanted it to start, and be in sinc with the video.
For the other anime i used a professional subtitles tool, and translated the english track, so i didn't had to start from zero and work on font/color/signs/sub sinc etc.

>>5901 Wanna tip? Start simple. Don't worry about backgrounds or shading, just start with the character itself. Don't try to copy a picture as it will never turn out exactly like what you are trying to copy and it will only make you disappointed.
Just start by drawing its face, even. No body, just the face. Get good at drawing that face and, slowly, move on to drawing more complex parts; the body and eventually the background followed by shading and light sources. I have been self-teaching myself for several years now and this is basically the pattern I have followed.
Pic related is one of my more recent doodles(shit quality because only way to upload them is with webcam). Even still, there are fuck ups with this drawing. Namely the feet being too small. That leads me to another tip; patience and perseverance. Don't try to draw everything at once, create the character little by little. And if your drawing doesn't turn out as good as you wanted it to, don't throw it away. Keep it, and let it serve as a sort of lesson at what to try not to do/what to improve on.
Oh and I don't blame you for not being able to draw in paint or on the computer in general. I can't draw on a computer worth a shit even with a USB sketchpad. Paper peasant 4 life.

I had the whole book, word by word, swirling into my mind, and i kept on trying to remember it, because i couldn't afford to forget those things.
So i wrote them, and while that book exists, i don't have to keep on remembering that stuff again and again.

I can say that writing, for me, is a hell of a lot harder than drawing. Especially since it requires a good amount of empathy and knowing how to get people to sympathize with a character.
I recently wrote a trilogy of stories, stories about the angel(yes that is an angel. If you know anything about angels, you would know that they aren't all maidens with white robes, dove wings, and golden halo's plucking at a harp on a cloud.) in that drawing and, according to a friend of mine, they are quite good aside from some petty spelling/grammar errors…which is inevitable when you type up about 25 pages per story in the span of two days. Of course, I did pre-writing and rough drafts before then that took a couple weeks first.
Anyways, one of the best and quick guides to writing good stories is pixar's 22 tips for phenomenal storytelling. Following them turned my story writing from a mixture between a narrative and an encyclopedia entry into an actual compelling piece. I should probably upload them somewhere.

I just felt like writing 7 years ago, and 5 years ago i stopped, after writing the book.
It was something that i needed to do, it helped me more that i could think.
I'm currently not an excellent writer but i guess i'm average.

Anyway i had an idea.
What if i set up a "daily socializing thread" where i help anons out with depression?
I was thinking to resort to an online private chat with easy password-protected room creation and with room + comments deleted when everyone leaves it.
Then when a room gets deleted anyone can create another one, link to it in the same thread and wait someone to enter it to talk.
Would this idea be /mental/ enough?
