This board will not take the place of a mental healthcare professional and should not be used as one.

Any and all posts asking for a diagnosis, advice on medication, or anything else that only your doctor is qualified to make judgments on will be locked immediately.

This board used to be a nice place, but for the past few months i'm almost certain that /mental/ has been overrun by underage misdiagnosing hormones for illnesses, or for the purpose of attention seeking.

Has anyone else noticed this or am i seeing things?

Nope, you aren't alone. Whatever, I guess

Almost every single one of your posts, including the first one you ever made, was whining about this.

If this is all you have to contribute and you feel so strongly in your dislike towards what you feel this community has developed into, why not just leave?

Rekking people is good and all but you don't make a habit of checking post histories, do you?

I'm in my 20s. All I'm saying is if you don't like this board, no one's making you stay but yourself.

I know that you're trying to prove a point, but posting someone's post-history is the worst thing you could do. You've betrayed the trust of many people and now they may feel discouraged from posting here again.

I disagree. How did Raccoon betray anyone's trust? That guy's posts are not even about him or his problems, they all look like something straight out of /b/, petty insults and pointless whining. I've written some pretty personal things here and I'll keep doing so.

I share your concern but like, in a less rude way.

Please explain to me how anonymity is thrown out the window when nothing in that picture identifies the person to any extent?

I don't see an IP, I don't see a Dox, I don't see anything. I see a bunch of posts from the same guy that could have just been from any other person.

 No.8874

>>8869
Are you serious? How was this guy's privacy violated? We now know that he's been trying to stir up trouble for the whole duration of his stay here, and that's all we know.

This information was also relevant to the topic, because his first post seemed to imply that he's some kind of veteran who's seen his favourite board devolve into something else, while as his post history shows, he's worse than the people that are supposedly ruining /mental/.

His privacy is safe, same for his reputation (he didn't have one to begin with). His butt is probably a bit red right now, but hey, that's what you get for being a jerk on the internet.

 No.8876

For the record, I didn't delete his post. He deleted his own post. I didn't even get to see it.
