/beauty/ was behind the girl board drama earlier this year.
TLDR part
These 4chan seagulls chased out /girltalk/ and /tradfem/ original BOs and have now taken over /tradfem/ with this as the board message:
Hello, and welcome to /tradfem/- Traditional Femininity. The purpose of this board is to cater to those partaking in a traditional lifestyle or making an attempt to do so in modern times. Every culture has their own standard of what is traditional for them and because of that this board isn't aiming to be exclusively for x group or only those who live up to the standards of anons here.
In the case of the previous owner, since I know that everyone reading this who was present for that drama is wondering, I am going to be perfectly honest. When I logged in to here the two most blatant signs that the old owner had still be around long after the alleged abandonment of this board was the fact that two threads which had been made after they "ran off" were tended to. One was stickied and the other was locked. This board had no volunteers, thus making it impossible for one to have done this. No one else could have done that except for the owner, who had also still been logging into /tradfem/ up until March 28th, which was still long after they had allegedly been chased off.
What is also interesting is that all posts made by the owner are gone, as if they didn't want whoever would claim this board after them to see. The only reason for this which I could surmise is that perhaps they were samefagging.
I apologize for taking so much of the sticky up with this, but due to all of the drama some of the anons on this board caused a few months back (and I now also suspect the previous owner, despite having no issues with them prior) I want this to be as fresh of a start as possible.
I hope that everyone who was present can put what happened behind them and I also hope that none of you will go out of your way to create bad blood between us and other boards on this site. We've had quite enough of it.
In the case of men posting here, I will allow it so long as you do not get out of line and I am quite certain that you know what that entails.
