I wouldn't go that far , truth be told I was sympathetic to them for trying to create less heavily moderated versions of /pol/ /v/ and /a/ .

Because they are poorly moderated and getting the word out for alternatives on the relevant boards would have been greeted with a ban or deletion , which kinda made things anti competitive.
