It's standard issue internet trolling and dickery, this time with a seriously efficient spambot based in Canada added into the mix. This isn absolutely nothing we haven't seen before, time and time again, and won't see again later.

I have no idea why people think this is a huge deal. /intl/ is a board of trolls who successfully trolled a bunch of other trolls into spamming their board after they spammed a bunch of other boards with other trolls.

It's fucking nothing. They aren't playing anybody like a damn fiddle like you fucking children keep saying, they're just being dicks to different people than normal, and different people are being dicks back. Sorry, man. There is no master plan. It's just more pointless shit but they know they can get people even angrier by acting like they meant it all to happen and surprise, that's exactly what they're doing.

Hence Canada (and seemingly just like two or three guys from Canada) spamming constantly, hence meta reacting to the drama, hence /intl/ bragging that it was their plan all along and that they want to kill 8chan. They want attention, and people love giving them that attention because it makes them feel like it'll really stick it to them to prove them wrong. they know they're wrong. Nobody seriously believes any of this bullshit. They just want attention.

Their goal was to co-opt fullchan, but that failed terribly and now their goal is pretty much just to shitpost on /meta/ while trying to convince people they don't mind /intl/ getting annihilated.

I don't think you have to stop, but try switching to a smaller chan site, or some of the slow boards on 8chan, that way you can just check them once a day or so and won't miss anything

that's what I've been doing anyway, though I might just leave here since the drama has even reached small, irrelevant boards that I use
