considering /operate/ is a slow board that doesn't get many new threads, and there was a point in time where he would respond to /operate/ posts more often, it wouldn't be much of a
hassle for him to make more of an effort.
i mean reddit literally just had this burst of user/mod anger because the admins wouldn't listen or communicate with them, retreating
from your users is not a good path to go down. i mean from September onwards he's done nothing but continually criticize moot and reddit every single chance he got, would
it not make him a tremendous hypocrite to just cut off a valuable means of communicating with his users. why not be better than moot or ellen pao, and not sink to the same
level as them when it comes to communicating with his own users whom have supported him ever step of the way
>I wouldn't come to this autistic board either unless the site went down or I was curious about Next dev, so who can blame him?
when you justify this sort of thing you don't get a better admin you instead get an admin whom would rather post his fucking irc logs in a thread >>27597 than calmly
respond to one of his users, along with other ridiculous behavior the continual justification and hero worship only serves to inflate an admins ego and causes then to
disconnect from their userbase. we literally used to shit on moot for the same thing, and if you went back and read his older posts and listened to the various streams he
went on i'm sure he has at least once criticized moot for not better communicating with his users.
