>So they chased a few redditors away big fucking deal.
>Here you had a group of people so dedicated to protecting 8chan from outsiders that they were willing to raid the redditors into oblivion to make sure they left.
i mean this would be worthy of congratulations if it actually happened, see this whole thread i made here >>26896 . now what actually happened is that you had perhaps
a few boards actively push up a board that would have otherwise slid down the boards list like /neofags/, and /transfags/. it's somewhat comical that you had one side thinking
they actually accomplished something while you had hotwheels bitching and moaning and just generally dramafagging about an exodus that never happened.
if we're being perfectly honest here both of you ended up looking ridiculous during that whole debacle.
with that said i'll 100% agree with you that having the mods sticky a thread on /b/ was the worst possible things that could have been done, essentially you created a rift between the users whom
subscribed to the boogieman the mods/admin told them to be afraid of and you had those who didn't
also another point within regards to turning an entire board into a boogieman, this phenomenon has become very much apparent on /v/. essentially everything under the sun is blamed
on /intl/, it frankly makes me sick to my stomach to see such lunacy. this is purely hotwheels doing, he needs to actually do something to deal with this ridiculous level of paranoia that
he had a hand in creating. essentially he needs to say that "/intl/ is just a handful of shitposters whom are in no way deserving of the intense paranoia that some users have towards them"
i'll also agree that a few good faith gestures are required to deal with this rift that has been created
with that said i'll link to another post i made in the other thread >>32077
