It looks like an attacker may actually be using imgur and 8chan to host a DDOS attack against 4chan; see pic related.

It's picking up a very small Flash file from 8chan (I think it's from one of the furry pokemon fetish boards) and that Flash file is then indirectly loading a huge pile of images from 4chan.

It actually puts a load on both 4 and 8's servers, and given the server size and capacities, the way it is built would hurt 8ch more than 4chan with that in mind. That said, it could easily be altered to cripple either site, and Imgur isn't exactly happy about the situation either since its running through them.

Looks like bui is at it again.

He probably found an exploit in imgur's service and either hacked into their servers, or started mass uploading screencaps containing embedded javascript code. I recommend contacting imgur about it, they most likely do not know about this.
