Then I discovered that it's possible to make music heavy AND creative AND technical. I also finally got over the breakdown addiction, after awhile I realized how retarded it is to just rhythmically chug the same chord for a breakdown while skinny metrosexuals flail their 50 pound bodies around using faux martial arts yet aren't actually trying to hit eachother but dance?
I also realized that there were death/black/thrash metal bands making music that was 10x more complex, unique, and artistic, with actual integrity by serious musicians decades before these faggy troll trendy scenesters came along and played their dumbed down overproduced trash for the retarded mallcore trend kids that won't know the difference.
I think just the older I got, the more I longed for music with actual substance to it. Heavy, but with actual genuine feel and soul to it, not some sort of plastic, novelty, corporate created mix n' mash bullshit.
