I didn't see a thread like this, so here's a place to show off your merch collections, talk about recent purchases, or talk about methods of storage.
Pic one is my current collection, 56 CDs. The only one there that isn't metal is Pain is Beauty from Chelsea Wolfe. I'm probably gonna outgrow this shelf pretty soon.
Second pic is my newest arrival. Midnight Odyssey's Funerals from the Astral Sphere and the Funerals from the Astral Sphere shirt, both arrived on Monday. And today I finally caved in and ordered the first four Darkthrone albums and a Darkthrone shirt, which according to the Peaceville website should arrive by next week.

My room is pretty small it takes up about a 10 foot space, with some racks to the right of the pictures I posted. I started buying vinyl back around Christmas because I was gifted a record player. I'm 17 now and I've been collecting CD's, Tapes, and Vinyl since I was around 4-5.

>>3913I alphabetize them first, I don't really sort by genre I just kind of have the genres mixed. Like I don't separate my Tonio. K, from Tool or Trouble and the other T's for example. The way I have it set up right now is that the main racks I have in the picture those are there for the CD's and artists that I have multiple albums worth of stuff. For example I have every Alice Cooper Album so those are on those racks, I have all but one Killer Dwarfs so those are there as well. But then let's say I find a CD and that's the only one I have of that artist, I'll sit it in the racks that aren't alphabetized yet, because it's been about a year and a half since I did it last. Also, I don't put Best Of albums with my main racks I sit those in in the, what I like to call, "Overflow" racks.
